2025: Merlion absorbs "Cactus "

The Merlion group of companies gained full control over the Cactus fulfillment operator, completing the process of integrating the asset into the holding structure. The transaction will allow the IT distributor to focus key competencies in the field of multi-channel sales and strengthen the presence of logistics and trading solutions in the market, including optimization of operations on marketplaces. The completion of the consolidation was announced on April 10, 2025.

According to the press service of Merlion, the first stage of integration began back in 2022, when the group of companies acquired 51% of Tempoline Logistics LLC, which created the Cactus fulfillment operator. The service is a ready-made infrastructure for business development and omnichannel trading, helps automate operational processes through logistics and software solutions, including analytics, warehouse services for the storage and processing of goods and orders.

Merlion has absorbed the trading system on the Cactus marketplaces

Cactus allows you to scale your business, work with different sales channels, and optimize the cost of storing, processing and delivering orders. The provider cooperates with all the largest Russian marketplaces according to the schemes FBO (Fulfillment by Operator), FBS (Fulfillment by Seller) and DBS (Delivery by seller).

Currently, the merger of the logistics infrastructure of the Kaktus fulfillment operator and Merlion Group of Companies has been completed. Thanks to this, the distributor's partners have the opportunity to increase the efficiency of their logistics in general, in particular, to exclude an additional transport leverage during the subsequent sale of goods on marketplaces.

The director of the operational activities division of the Merlion Andrei Polyakov group of companies noted that the company is actively working on the development of distribution channels, including marketplaces. Connecting a company with a large accumulated expertise in the fulfillment segment will increase the growth rate and strengthen its position in this direction, providing both current partners and new customers with even more opportunities for business development.
