History

2015: OmniWay's Russian unit joins Cleverics

Cleverics, an IT management training and consulting company in Russia and the CIS, and consulting firm OmniWay announced the merger in July 2015. Cleverics will include the Russian division of OmniWay.

The combined company is:

• a team of more than 25 certified specialists (ITIL Expert, IT Service Manager, ISO 20,000 Manager/Consultant, CGEIT) with many years of project and teaching experience in Russia and the CIS countries;
• more than 500 customers over 6 years of operation - financial and insurance companies, government agencies, telecom operators, system integrators, retail chains, production and mining companies use the services;
• more than 50 completed consulting projects - reorganization of IT management, construction and automation of IT and business processes, audits and surveys;
• Almost 9,000 trainees - more than 20 specialized courses on IT management and administration of OMNITRACKER, dozens of developed and adapted curricula;
• more than 200 accepted exams ITILITSM for/annually ¬ - hundreds of specialists have already confirmed their qualifications;
• the leader in the number of OMNITRACKER system implementations in the CIS countries and the largest OMNINET partner in Russia and the CIS;
• Platinum partner GamingWorks (Netherlands) in Russia and the CIS for IT management - four business games for working out key skills.

The combined team will include all Cleverics and OmniWay specialists. All contracts and obligations undertaken by both companies prior to the merger will be fulfilled. All intelligent products, software solutions and developments implemented by the Russian division are moving from OmniWay to a combined company. The Ukrainian division will continue to operate under the OmniWay brand and become an independent partner of Cleverics. The combined company will maintain partnerships with OMNINET, Qlik Tech, EXIN, AXELOS, GamingWorks, Outpost, itSMF and other organizations. Formal and legal procedures for merging companies are expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2015.

Results of the work of the training direction

The past year has shown that training has become one of the main priorities of leading Russian companies, whose IT divisions were primarily focused on improving the labor efficiency of employees.

The past year was the year of the return of demand for training in general and training in the field of ITSM in particular. Companies have returned to normal planning, training has again become an important task in IT development plans. First of all, experts note an increase in interest in certification - today more and more students are completing their training with a certification exam. Distance learning is also actively developing, which can become the main form of training for specialists from the regions. Interest in alternative (non-ITIL) certification schemes is growing, experts expect a further increase in demand for both training and certification based on the ISO 20,000 standard . In the field of corporate training, adapted programs are actively used, companies are striving not only to form a theoretical basis for the development of ITSM, but to get answers to specific questions and solutions to specific applied problems during the training.

All of the above means improving the requirements for the qualifications and experience of trainers and consultants in the ITSM field. The availability of practical experience and wide erudition, not limited only to basic ITIL publications, become important criteria for choosing an ITSM training service provider. This is a unique author's course on IT project management, part of which was the simulation game 'The Challenge of Egypt' and also the certification course 'ITSM Processes: Management and Improvement', which has no analogues in the Russian market, within which the game 'Grab @ Pizza' is held.

In the field of specialist certification, Cleverics offers any international EXIN exams with an instant result. In 2010, the company accepted more than 100 exams. Cooperation with higher education institutions continues. Launch the site realITSM.ru

In 2010, Cleverics launched a site with blocks of its own employees realITSM.ru. Oleg Skrynnik, CEO of Cleverics, said in October 2010 that his company was fond of the topic of blogs:
