History
2024
Repel 780 thousand address attacks
Innostage went through cyber tests on the Standoff Bug Bounty platform. Following the results of the six-month program, the company received a certificate from Cyber Testing JSC. The number of researchers trying to hack into the infrastructure of Innostage exceeded 930 people, including 4 Red team teams, winners of Russian cyberbits. The reward for a successful attack was 10 million rubles. The company announced this on December 6, 2024.
The cyber test program on the Standoff Bug Bounty platform lasts 6 months. During this time, white hackers must implement one of the unacceptable events that can critically affect the work of the company. The conclusion on the results of cyber tests is made by an expert council, including industry specialists from leading companies in Russia. For six months, Innostage withstood hundreds of thousands of targeted attacks, faced several major incidents, but this did not lead to the implementation of an unacceptable event - theft of money from the account.
{{quote "For six months of participation in the program, Innostage has demonstrated a high level of protection of its IT infrastructure. We were the first to go through this independent testing to show partners and customers Innostage's high level of digital resilience. Having received the certificate, the company confirmed its level of expertise in the field of information security and the ability to effectively protect the data of its customers, "said Aydar Guzairov, CEO of Innostage. }}
In the six months since the start of the cyber tests, Innostage specialists have repelled about 780 thousand attacks. During peak periods (June-July and October-November), the number of attacks reached 120-130 thousand per week. These attacks clearly demonstrate the current threat to IT systems and the need for enhanced protection.
Two incidents reported by Innostage specialists did not lead to the successful implementation of unacceptable events. So, in July 2024, one of the hackers organized a phishing newsletter, masquerading as the official correspondence of the company. In November, another researcher tried to infiltrate the company using a fake wi-fi point in the business center where one of the Innostage offices is located.
Starting the Innostage Network Security and Infrastructure Lab
Innostage has launched a testing laboratory for domestic network infrastructure and security solutions - Innostage Network Security and Infrastructure (INSI). The laboratory specializes in import substitution of the entire complex of equipment for building internal infrastructure: LAN, WLAN, EDGE and NGFW. The company announced this on August 26, 2024.
The main tasks of INSI include comprehensive testing of domestic vendors, assessment of their capabilities, collection of feedback from potential users and validation of closing business needs. Laboratory experts are doing a full range of work to replace network infrastructure and security solutions, including closing the missing functions in current solutions and the connected elements of IT and information security infrastructure. Upon completion of the migration, they can train all staff on a deployed digital twin that exactly repeats the real infrastructure.
The departure of foreign manufacturers has become a challenge for companies using their solutions in their infrastructures. However, the situation is not as dramatic as it might seem at first glance. Recently, Russian vendors have accumulated decent experience in the development and implementation of the main types of equipment. Their operational reliability is confirmed by practice. And our experience shows that it is quite possible to implement a full-fledged corporate network environment on these solutions. The market has an urgent need for high-quality expertise, therefore, to support organizations in solving the problems of building an import-replaced architecture, we have created a laboratory where our specialists work closely with Russian manufacturers to help improve their products, - said Almaz Mazitov, business leader of Innostage. |
