Ministry of Labor and Social Development of the Novosibirsk Region

The Ministry of Labor and Social Development of the Novosibirsk Region is the executive body of state power of the Novosibirsk Region, carrying out state administration and regulatory legal regulation in the fields of labor, employment of the population, social protection of the population, social services of citizens in the Novosibirsk region, guardianship and guardianship, recreation and rehabilitation of certain categories of citizens, including children, on the territory of the Novosibirsk region within the powers established by federal legislation and the legislation of the Novosibirsk region, coordination and control over the activities of the subordinate state institutions of the Novosibirsk Region under its jurisdiction. The Ministry is the executive body of state power of the Novosibirsk region, authorized to carry out:

• regional state control (supervision) over employment of persons with disabilities within the established quota;
• regional state control (supervision) in the field of social services;
• regional state control (supervision) over the reliability, relevance and completeness of information on organizations for children's recreation and their recovery contained in the register of organizations for children's recreation and their recovery (the Regulation was approved by Decree of the Government of the Novosibirsk Region of August 1, 2017 No. 296-p).

History

2017: Creation of the Ministry of Labor and Social Development of the Novosibirsk Region

By Decree of the Governor of the Novosibirsk Region of July 4, 2017 No. 128^[1], the Ministry of Social Development of the Novosibirsk Region and the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Labor Resources of the Novosibirsk Region were abolished with the formation of the Ministry of Labor and Social Development of the Novosibirsk Region. The functions of the abolished ministries were transferred to the new ministry, with the exception of the functions of managing the system of secondary vocational education, additional education for children and additional vocational education (in relation to subordinate state educational organizations of the Novosibirsk region) in the Novosibirsk region, entrusted to the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Labor Resources of the Novosibirsk region. These functions were transferred to the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation Policy of the Novosibirsk Region.

The Ministry of Labor and Social Development of the Novosibirsk Region is the legal successor to the obligations of the Ministry of Social Development of the Novosibirsk Region and the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Labor Resources of the Novosibirsk Region

2015: Activities of the Ministry of Social Development of the Novosibirsk Region

The Ministry of Social Development of the Novosibirsk Region was the regional executive body of state power of the Novosibirsk Region, implementing public administration and regulatory legal regulation in the spheres of social protection of the population, social services of citizens in the Novosibirsk region, guardianship and guardianship, recreation and rehabilitation of certain categories of citizens, including children, in the territory of the Novosibirsk region within the powers established by federal legislation and the legislation of the Novosibirsk region, coordination and control over the activities of the territorial bodies under its jurisdiction, as well as subordinate state institutions of the Novosibirsk region (Regulation on the Ministry of Social Development of the Novosibirsk Region, approved by Decree of the Government of the Novosibirsk Region of December 30, 2015 No. 490-p^[2]).
