Ministry of Education of the Novosibirsk Region

The Ministry of Education of the Novosibirsk region is the regional executive body of the state vlastinovosibirsky area exercising public administration and standard legal regulation in sphere of formation and youth policy in the limits set by the federal legislation and the legislation of the Novosibirsk region of powers and also coordination and control of activity of the subordinated public institutions of the Novosibirsk region which are under its authority.

History

2017: Renaming to the Ministry of Education of the Novosibirsk Region

On December 5, 2017, Acting Governor Andrei Travnikov signed Decree No. 234 "On Amending the Structure of Executive Bodies of State Power of the Novosibirsk Region and Transferring Functions."

In accordance with the resolution, the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation Policy of the Novosibirsk Region was renamed the Ministry of Education of the Novosibirsk Region.

In addition, the functions of implementing state administration and regulatory legal regulation in the field of youth policy are transferred to the Ministry of Education of the Novosibirsk Region - previously these functions were assigned to the Ministry of Regional Policy of the Novosibirsk Region.^[1]

2011

As of 2011, the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation Policy of the Novosibirsk Region was the regional executive body of state power of the Novosibirsk Region, implementing state management and regulatory legal regulation in the fields of education, science and innovation within the limits of powers established by federal legislation and legislation of the Novosibirsk Region, state control (supervision) in the field of education, as well as coordination and control over the activities of state institutions under its jurisdiction in the Novosibirsk region.
