State Archive of the Novosibirsk Region

The State Archive of the Novosibirsk Region is one of the repositories of archival information on the history of not only the Novosibirsk Region, but also throughout Siberia. As of June 2020, the Archive Fund contains more than 2.4 million storage units, documents have been stored here since 1726. The funds contain such rare documents as a record of the marriage of Fyodor Mikhailovich Dostoevsky; the autobiography of Marshal Rokossovsky; report on the departure of Nikolai Chernyshevsky from Tobolsk prison to Irkutsk; decree on the execution of Admiral Kolchak, as well as a collection of photo documents, metric books and cartography.
