Biography

Alexander was born on July 29, 1975 in St. Petersburg.

In 1997 he graduated from the Faculty of Mathematics and Mechanics of St. Petersburg State University.

In 1999-2000, he completed a retraining course for middle and senior management under the Manager program at IMISP.

In 2019, he graduated from the Global Business program at the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.


In 1996 and until 2003, he worked for CSBI, consistently occupying positions from department specialist to director of the department.

From 2003 to 2004, he worked at Reksoft as a director of sales and business development.

In 2004, he joined Korus Consulting as Development Director. Under his leadership, new EMC Documentum and Oracle business application practices were created.

2007: CEO of Korus Consulting

On October 2, 2007, the founder of Korus Consulting Igor Shirokov took over as president of the company, appointing Alexander Semenov as the new general director.

2014: Transfer to Rostec as Deputy General Director of the National Center for Informatization
