BMWs i3 are compact electric vehicles of a premium class which development is conducted taking into account requirements of environmentally friendly mobility.
The first two years of BMW i3 was issued with accumulators with a capacity of 60 А×ч, but since summer of 2016 it is equipped with Li-ion batteries with a capacity of 94 А×ч. At the same time the power consumption of the electric vehicle is only 11.3 kWh / 100 km (according to tests on the cycle NEDC). Such characteristics even in day-to-day running, i.e. under bad weather conditions, inclusion of the systems of climate control and heating and also use of a multimedia system, provide the guaranteed course stock on electric draft of 200 km.
BMW i3 with the battery on 94 А×ч is adapted for charging by alternating current with power up to 11 kW that conforms to the standards which gained the greatest distribution on public charging stations. Despite the increased battery capacity, the optimized system of replenishment of battery power allows to fill completely it with energy less than in three hours. As normal equipment of BMW i3 (94 А×ч) REX is equipped with a charging cable from the normal socket and also the connector for charging a direct current with power up to 50 kW. Modern charging stations of a direct current are capable to fill up the BMW i3 battery for 80% less than in 40 minutes.
Characteristics of the electric motor – 170 hp and 250 Nanometers. It allows BMW i3 (94 А×ч) REX to disperse from the place to 100 km/h in only 8.1 seconds. Maximum speed in completely electric mode is limited on a mark of 150 km/h.
The conditioner and heating of front seats will create a pleasant microclimate in salon not only in the summer, but also during the cold winter period. The signaling system of abnormal rapprochement at the movement by a backing allows to park the car even on the most loaded city streets, and the regular Business navigation system — to lay optimal routes on the basis of the criteria set by the driver.
2017: Availability in Russia BMW i3 with batteries on 94 А×ч
In 2017 the Russian admirers of the BMW i brand can purchase the Bavarian electric vehicle BMW i3 with batteries with a capacity of 94 А×ч and a stock of energy 33 KWh. Li-ion cells from the energy raised by density when preserving the basic sizes of the accumulator allowed to increase a course stock more than by 50% in comparison with the first BMW i3 model (60 А×ч) — up to 300 km according to the standard cycle NEDC. The updated BMW i3 is delivered to Russia in the fixed complete set with batteries with a capacity of 94 А×ч and the system of increase in a stock of the course (REX) allowing to prolong a run at one gas station for 150 km. The basic cost of BMW i3 (94 А×ч) REX will be 4,360,000 rubles, reported in BMW Group Russia on January 18, 2017.
All BMWs i3 which are on sale in the Russian market in 2017 are equipped with the system of increase in a stock of the course based on the two-cylinder petrol engine of 650 cm ³ and 28 hp. It allows to support battery power at one level and increases the guaranteed run even at day-to-day running and inclusion of onboard power consumers up to 330 km at one gas station. At the same time installation of auxiliary DVS does not affect the volume of the luggage compartment – it remains at the previous level of 260 liters.
The basic version of BMW i3 for the Russian market is equipped with all necessary functions increasing comfort and safety of movement, colored in glossy Beliy Kapparis with blue accents of BMW i and is supplied on 19-inch light-alloy wheels of Star style 427 with raznorazmerny buses.
The basic interior of Studio includes finishing by Neutronic fabric and opaque decorative levels of Silvery Andesite color, and as an additional option the car can receive one of three options of finishing — the Loft, Lodge or the Suit.
