2020: Announcement of the electric Cross Dirt motorcycle

On August 18, 2020 the Ukrainian company Delfast announced the beginning of sales of the electric Cross Dirt motorcycle which as the producer claims, is capable to pass without recharge to 280 km.

Innovation is offered in two versions — with lithium accumulators with a capacity of 1920 mAh or 2760 mAh. 4-hour charging provides 120 km of autonomous driving (with the accumulator of 1920 mAh) or 280 km (with the accumulator of 2760 mAh). Weight depending on the accumulator – 55 kg or 62 kg. It can maintain the weight of passengers to 135 kg, it is specified in the product description.

Cross Dirt is capable to pass without recharge to 280 km

Thanks to the electric motor with a power of 3,000 W the electrobike can accelerate up to 80 km/h. The company notes that this maximum speed can be reduced at the request of the client.

According to the edition Electrek, Cross Dirt belongs to the class of light motorcycles which are close to bicycles. Batteries are equipped with the modules Bluetooth BMS allowing the user to control charge level via the smartphone.

The motorcycle is supplied with not road buses, two-piston hydraulic disk brakes with big 203-millimeter rotors in front and behind and also headlights of a driving and passing beam for driving. Innovation also includes the built-in alarm clock and the GPS tracker which allows to keep track of location of the vehicle.

By August 18, 2020 the cost of Cross Dirt is 3700 euros

By August 18, 2020 the Cross Dirt electrobike can be ordered at the price of 3700 euros. Further the price will be raised up to 4700 euros, and modification with the accumulator of the increased capacity will be for 340 euros more expensive.

Delfast is in the Guinness Book of Records as the producer of electrobicycles with the maximum stock of the course. During registration of a record the vehicle passed 380 km without recharge when using only of electric motors.[1]
