The Mexican police buy electric bicycles from the Ukrainian producer

In December, 2019 the Ukrainian producer of electric Delfast bicycles signed the delivery contract of the products of police of Mexico. The founder of a startup Danil Tonkopy made such statement within the Ukrainian final of tender of startups which will go to Startup Grind Global 2020.

Tonkopy did not begin to disclose transaction details therefore neither supply rates of electrobikes are unknown to the Mexican law enforcement agencies, nor the cost of the contract. At the same time he said that Delfast conducts negotiations on similar cooperation with the Los Angeles Police Department.

The producer of electric Delfast bicycles signed the delivery contract of the products of police of Mexico

Electric Delfast Ebike bicycles are capable to pass about 380 km without recharge. Cruising speed is 45 km/h, and maximum — 80 km/h. The accumulator manufactured in the USA is expected three thousand cycles and supports energy recuperation.

The Delfast company was created in 2014 as environmentally friendly service of a courier delivery where gave preference to electric bicycles. Initially couriers used the Chinese equipment, and then the company began to make own equipment.

The electric Delfast bike officially is a world record-holder on the range of the autonomous course from one accumulator charging. The result in 367 km was recorded on a bicycle track in Kiev. After this record the campaign for fund raising on development of the Ukrainian startup on the crowdfunding Kickstarter platform began.

Defalst is going to start the plant on production of electrobikes in Ukraine, by the end of December, 2019 production of products is performed at the Chinese factory. In Ukraine founders of a startup also want to make some spare parts for "green transport" and to open delivery service for an hour in Europe.

Defalst notes that thanks to electrobikes the logistic company can save thousands of dollars.[1]
