More than 1000 projects over 25 years

By September 2016, over the years of work on the market, more than a thousand large projects were completed for the public sector, banks, telecommunications operators and industrial enterprises. Force works closely with the Moscow Department of Information Technologies, having completed several dozen projects on automation of urban, housing and communal services. The company also took an active part in the creation of the Unified System of Interdepartmental Electronic Interaction, developed its own solution for creating a regional segment of e-government, which is used in a number of regions. Automate budgeting, planning, and consolidation of financial statements without purchasing licenses

In May 2016, FORCE announced a service to automate budgeting, planning and consolidation of financial statements without the need to purchase expensive software licenses.

The Customer pays only a monthly subscription fee, the size of which is determined by the number of users, the amount of functionality used and the duration of subscription to the service. Such a board will be available even to small companies that previously could not afford to purchase certain licensed software.

A simple calculation shows that the amount of payments for the year will be significantly less than if a full-fledged project to implement such a system had to be implemented, purchasing software and hardware, technical support and paying for the work of specialists who are not easy to find on the market. Moreover, this difference will be even more noticeable with a small number of users, which is typical for medium and small businesses.

The project of implementing a budgeting system with the purchase of the necessary equipment and licenses for similar software in some cases can cost 6 times more than with the use of the offered service.

At the same time, the system can be deployed both in its own FORCE cloud and on the customer's server capacity. The equipment can also be leased. Note that in the FORCE cloud, specialized hardware and software high-performance complexes are installed, which meet the most stringent requirements for fault tolerance, reliability and scaling.

The data center infrastructure provides complete fault tolerance for the systems located in it, and the object corresponds to the Level 3 reliability level in the categories "project," "construction" and "operation" with an availability rate of 99.999% and meets the PCI DSS requirements in terms of ensuring reliable data protection. The operation of the FORCE cloud is carried out by experienced and certified specialists throughout the stack of solutions. Real-time customers can access the demo version of the service, as well as conduct tests on their own data and select the necessary level of functionality that meets the needs of current business tasks.

In a typical scenario, based on the budgeting methodology used in the customer's company, an application is developed that works in the FORCE cloud, and then an agreement is concluded to provide a service for administering this application and providing users with access to it. Further development of the project can go in several directions - increasing the number of users, implementing additional functional requirements, or solving new tasks for managing business efficiency.

BPS Services for Oracle Hyperion-Based Business Process Support

In May 2016, the FORCE Development Center announced the start of providing services based on the EPM platform Oracle Hyperion. Oracle BPS (Business Process Services) enables companies to support business processes to manage their performance based on subscription fees without purchasing software licenses or caring about the technical aspects of systems. This will help reduce one-time costs while making IT costs more predictable and manageable.

The system can be deployed both in the form of a cloud architecture on the server power of a data center located in the Russian Federation and on the client's site. The standard package of services includes: configuration, administration and maintenance of applications for managing the company's performance. As additional services, FORCE offers audit and optimization of existing applications, their migration to new versions, as well as the implementation of other business tasks at the request of the customer.

Oracle Hyperion's EPM platform is an integrated suite of business applications to support business performance management processes, including strategic modeling, planning, budgeting, financial reporting consolidation, and profitability management.

Big Data: a new direction in FORCE activities

FORCE announced at the beginning of 2013 the start of a new Big Data direction for itself, within the framework of which it is planned to conduct research projects, use the results obtained in order to solve practical problems and develop expertise in general. The first projects have started, testing and work is underway to create industry demonstration stands, including at the specialized Oracle Exalytics In-Memory Machine software and hardware complex.

Unlike traditional IT services, it uses fundamentally new, principle-based approaches and technologies that allow you to extract the necessary information from huge amounts of unstructured data from a wide variety of external sources - from Internet sites and social networks to complex information systems.

Today it is one of the fastest growing segments of the IT market. According to IDC forecasts, it will grow about seven times faster than the ICT market as a whole, and by 2015 its global volume will reach $16.9 billion. Cumulative planned growth (CAGR) will thus be 39.4%. At the end of 2012, analysts assure, the Big Data segment should grow by almost 50% to $7 billion. According to the most optimistic estimates, 75% of organizations in the world with more than 500 employees plan to invest in business analysis solutions in the next 12 months. And, despite the fact that in Russia there are not so many real projects of this kind, the beginning has been laid.

It is planned to carry out activities in the following key areas:

  • development of expertise in the field of Big Data technologies;
  • implementation of research projects on the basis of Oracle hardware and software platforms;
  • promotion of technologies and obtained research results for solving practical problems;
  • preparation of a demonstration stand with examples of relevant industrial systems;
  • conduct internal and external workshops to disseminate ideas, methods and approaches to the use of Big Data technologies .

Technologies include Oracle Data Mining and Oracle R Enterprise for in-depth data analysis, Oracle Endeca Information Discovery for intuitive analysis with advanced search capabilities in the context of fuzzy search criteria, Hadoop and MapReduce for distributed data storage and processing, and NoSQL for efficiently storing huge amounts of non-standard data. A separate class of solutions are hardware and software complexes that use innovative in-memory technologies. Note that FORCE has its own demo center ExaStack Studio with an almost complete stack of Exa-class solutions from Oracle, including Exalytics In-Memory Machine, Exalogic, Exadata & Database Appliance.

2011: Opening of the Oracle Exadata Database Machine Demo Center

On April 19, 2011, FORCE - Development Center announced the opening of the Oracle Exadata Database Machine Demo Center. In the ExaStack Studio Demo Center, partners and customers can directly familiarize themselves with the capabilities of this powerful computing complex, see its advantages over standard server equipment and get all the services in one place - from preparing a test script to training on a real machine, migrating databases and applications and delivering the product itself. Due to the fact that FORCE specialists deal with specific tasks every day related to improving the performance and optimizing the work of client applications, their knowledge is not only theoretical, but also supported by "live" practice of an applied nature. On the basis of FORCE ExaStack Studio, customers and partners with the support of FORCE specialists can:

  • Development of the test scenario;
  • Data Transfer for Testing:
  • Selection of test environment;
  • Carrying out load testing with subsequent analysis of its results;
  • Preparation of recommendations for modification of application databases to ensure optimal operation on Oracle Exadata;
  • Migrating databases and business applications to Oracle Exadata.

The FORCE Training and Consulting Center conducts authorized training on the Oracle Exadata Database Machine with laboratory work on an active machine, with real data and applications. Upon graduation, students gain practical knowledge and skills in setting up, testing, administering, configuring, operating and scaling the Oracle Exadata computing complex.
