Obtaining the status of TPP service "SBP"

2021: T1 Group became the owner of MultiCard

2019

12% of purchases on VTB cards and Post Bank were made using Pay services

In 2019, 12% of all card purchases were made using Pay services. Such data were obtained thanks to a study by the MultiCard processing company. More than 30 Russian banks (including VTB and Post Bank) to which it provides processing services were analyzed. At the end of 2019, the share of purchases that fall on the traditional method of payment by card amounted to 88%, and the share of purchases using contactless payments - 12% (+ 6% by 2018).

According to the study, in 2019, on average, about 180 million transactions were made monthly. The total number of transactions for the year increased by 78% - from 1.2 billion in 2018 to 2.2 billion in 2019.

The top 5 cities, where they most often paid by non-cash, included Moscow, St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Irkutsk and Yekaterinburg. In comparison with last year, Yekaterinburg became a newcomer, displacing Barnaul to 6th place.

As of January 2016, the number of serviced devices (ATMs and POS terminals) exceeded 40,000 units, the number of processed authorizations for the year amounted to more than 1 billion, with a peak load of about 5 million authorizations per day, and the number of payment cards serviced in the company's database reached 6 million, which is 1.6 times more than in 2014. 2014

One of the main projects for the company in 2014 was participation in the creation of the MultiCard payment system (PS). The decision to implement this project was made as part of the implementation of the recommendation of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation on the organization of interbank interaction interfaces between banks of the Russian Federation. The operator of PS MultiCard was VTB 24 Bank (PJSC), the functions of the settlement center are carried out by VTB Bank OJSC, and the operating and payment clearing center is the processing company MultiCard.

An important area in 2014 was the development of mobile online services. The mobile geolocation application for Windows mobile devices was improved and released to search for ATMs with services of interest to the user. To date, the application displays more than 15,000 ATMs of VTB Group in Russia and the CIS.

MultiCard is actively developing payment technologies. The company became a technology partner of VTB 24 Bank in the project of introducing mPOS technology as part of the bank's acquiring project.

Growth of processed authorizations in the first half of the year by 1.5 times

VTB has completed the merger of MultiCard and TransCreditCard

VTB Group announced in September 2013 the completion of the reorganization of MultiCard LLC in the form of the merger of TransCreditCard LLC. This is the largest project in Russia to unite processing companies. The combined company continues its work in the Russian market for processing services under the MultiCard brand.

By consolidating its business, MultiCard significantly strengthens its position as one of the largest processing companies in Russia. Today, the company's clients are more than 60 banks, including VTB Group banks and independent financial market participants. MultiCard processing centers process about 1 billion transactions per year, the company serves over 10 thousand ATMs, more than 30 thousand POS terminals (including unique equipment for the needs of Russian Railways), and the volume of issued and serviced cards exceeds 4 million.

The merger took place as part of the integration of TransCreditBank into VTB Group. The legal accession of TransCreditBank to the VTB24 is scheduled for November 2013. At the same time, clients of large and medium-sized businesses are transferred for service to VTB Bank, and clients of small businesses and individuals are transferred to VTB24.

Within the framework of this project, MultiCard provided maintenance of TCB cards in the combined VTB24 network while maintaining the main additional services; a unified operating scenario for VTB24 and Transcreditbank self-service devices was implemented and tested; Regional separation of payment recipients was carried out, as well as their dynamic mapping in accordance with the rating. Continuing the implementation of the strategy aimed at providing high-quality and in-demand services and services, MultiCard completed a number of projects aimed at supporting the business of its clients in the second quarter of 2013. The number of MultiCard customer banks exceeded 60, of which more than 50 are independent participants in the financial market. Among the new clients are the retail project of VTB Group Leto-Bank, VTB Azerbaijan and other banks.

Significant projects for the company were the implementation of a cross-sales service for VTB Ukraine and CreditUralBank, as a result of which the number of ATMs connected to the service exceeded 4 thousand devices. Among other most significant projects implemented last year, it should be noted the launch of the first Visa PayWave card acquiring project in Russia; introduction of cash-free lending technology through ATMs at Leto Bank; improving the ATM geolocation service and launching mobile Android and iPhone applications for finding ATMs.

2011: Tripled Customer Base Growth

As part of the new business development strategy, in March 2011 MultiCard carried out its first transaction in the mergers and acquisitions market and acquired a 100% stake in the authorized capital of Standard Processing LLC from Transinvestbank CB (LLC). The transaction was carried out in order to expand the customer base and strengthen the leading positions of MultiCard LLC in the processing services market.

In 2011, special attention was paid to information security issues: the company conducted an audit of systems that process and store payment card data, regulatory documents and procedures, and configurations of the security equipment used. According to the results of the audit in December 2011, MultiCard received a certificate of compliance with the PCI DSS 2.0 standard.
