The cost of providing services increased by 11.7% to 2.5 billion, profit from sales - 2.6 times to 289.2 billion rubles. "Other income" increased 5.4 times to 1.167 billion rubles. 2025: Opening of the Sportivnaya metro station in Novosibirsk for 3.78 billion rubles in 13 years
In September 2025, the opening of the first metro station "Sportivnaya" of the Novosibirsk metro took place in 13 years. The total cost of the project amounted to ₽3,78 billion, said the customer - the head of the MKU "Management of the customer of transport and engineering structures" Aleksei Nikolaev. Arkady Chmykhailo, head of the Novosibirsk Metro Municipal Unitary Enterprise, added that the metro expects passenger traffic to increase due to an increase in the number of events at the Ice Arena and Arena Park. The station is equipped with 12 escalators, the length of the platforms is 104 meters.[2]
2024: Approval of the general development scheme. Construction will take ₽100 billion
On November 7, 2024, it became known that the Novosibirsk administration presented a strategic plan for the modernization of the urban underground transport system until 2030, requiring an investment of ₽100 billion at 2024 prices. The urban planning document covers the comprehensive expansion of the transport infrastructure of the metropolis.
According to RBC, the concept provides for a significant expansion of the Dzerzhinsky direction with the commissioning of the Gusinobrodskaya, Molodezhnaya transport hubs and the Volochaevskaya technical complex. The Leninsky route will be supplemented with the objects "Stanislavsky Square," "Trolleinaya," as well as the terminal "Severnaya" behind the existing station "Zaeltsovskaya."
Investments in the development of technical documentation of the Dzerzhinsky site are estimated at ₽2,3 billion. The budgetary distribution for the project stage of 2024-2025 is ₽600 million, where ₽540 million will come from the regional treasury, and ₽60 million from municipal funds.
Municipal authorities are considering making adjustments to the general scheme of underground transport in 2025. The revision may affect the engineering parameters and the time frame for the implementation of individual project components.
According to the publication, the modernization of the transport system is aimed at optimizing passenger flows between actively developing territories and the business center of the city. The introduction of additional routes will create alternative travel options for citizens.
The strategy implies consistent implementation, taking into account urban development priorities. Particular emphasis is placed on synchronizing new facilities with the existing transport network and ensuring technological compatibility of infrastructure elements.[3]
