SecurOS 10.7

On October 19, 2020, the company ISS introduced SecurOS 10.7, which includes a subsystem for providing two-way voice; communications technology-based detectors neural network : protective masks in SecurOS FaceX and helmets in SecurOS Helmet Detection, as well as porting SecurOS Auto under. OS Linux

According to the company, since release 10.7, SecurOS users have access to a voice communication subsystem based on the SIP protocol. The subsystem provides two-way voice communication between the operator of the SecurOS situation center and the subscriber.

The telephony subsystem allows you to work both with SIP devices, including emergency call and information support terminals, and with softphones - applications for making voice calls using a computer through an IP network.

Incoming calls from citizens are routed and processed in a common queue by a group of SecurOS operators with appropriate access rights. Also, from the operator's workstation, you can notify citizens: send voice messages to SIP devices with loudspeakers.

A neural network algorithm for detecting protective masks on detected faces has been implemented - SecurOS Face Mask Detector. The detector detects both medical masks and respirators, and can also detect masks of different colors. If a person without a mask is detected, the corresponding icon is displayed on the SecurOS FaceX operator interface.

Also, thanks to the improved algorithm, the quality of recognition of faces wearing hats and protective masks is optimized.

Other improvements to SecurOS FaceX include:

  • optimized module speed, especially when there are a large number of people in the frame;
  • added the ability to receive events with information on the location of detected persons on each video frame, which is important for the implementation of MCDS projects.

The upgraded protective helmet wearing detector is based on deep learning technologies and supports NVidia hardware accelerators.

The algorithm uses specially optimized neural networks: a human tracker and a detector for the presence of a helmet on a person's head, as well as a decision-making unit on a violation when fixing a person without a helmet in a specific control zone. All stages of calculation are coordinated and optimized, which allows the detector to work with accuracy in various conditions, including non-cooperative behavior of people.

The most significant improvements to the software module of the vehicle bottom inspection system in release 10.7 are the following:

  • optimized quality of the received bottom image due to the modernization of the HDR algorithm;
  • possibility of using data magnetic sensors built into the UVSS platform to detect a person approaching the control point. car

SecurOS ProxCom 211M MCDS metadata controller provides hardware integration at the level of sending Wiegand code to almost any MCDS controller. Integration allows you to use the results of face recognition (SecurOS FaceX) and state registration marks of vehicles (SecurOS Auto) as credentials for authentication.

It is possible to create key point tours for PTZ cameras by writing them directly to the SecurOS configuration. I.e. not using the corresponding functionality of the camera itself. This simplifies configuration and allows you to work uniformly with different PTZ devices, regardless of their limitations in working with tours and prepositions. The creation of tours in the SecurOS configuration is available for cameras that support positioning by absolute coordinates.

And many other updates, including an update to the PostgreSQL version, neural network filters in Tracking Kit III, export to Evidence with associated sound, support for Response Services in MCC Direct Connect.

Retrospective search

  • A "deferred" search ("archive search") was implemented using metadata generated by SecurOS Tracking Kit III video analytical detectors of the Computer Vision subsystem.

Operating principle: SecurOS constantly stores low-level data on tracks and attributes of all objects that come into view of the camera. The retrospective search operator sets the required search parameters and time interval, and views the results in the form of personnel thumbnails. Having discovered the desired event, he can go "in one click" to view archived video.

The current SecurOS release supports the following search options:

  • Object class;
  • Object color;
  • Frame area to search for;
  • Time of the beginning and end of the object's stay in the search area;

SecurOS 10.2 R1: Neural network localizer SecurOS Auto and add-on of SecurOS FaceX functionality

On July 11, 2019, ISS - Intelligent Security Systems introduced an interim release with important updates to video analytics modules for face recognition and license plate recognition.

SecurOS Auto

Now the car number recognition module is equipped with a localizer of number plates based on convolutional neural networks (NN-localizer). This component allows you to significantly increase the accuracy of number recognition in difficult conditions:

  • a small number of characters on the license plate;
  • a large number of foreign inscriptions on the vehicle.

Thanks to the close cooperation of the ISS Neural Network Technologies Laboratory with the Intel R&D Center in Nizhny Novgorod, most neural network components and ISS modules, including the NN localizer, come out with built-in support for Intel OpenVINO technology. OpenVINO enables efficient utilization of both CPU resources and embedded Intel HD Graphics processors, providing sufficient performance even in the absence of discrete graphics accelerators. At the same time, for high-load applications, we are releasing a separate version of neural network modules with support for Nvidia graphics accelerators.

The accumulated practical experience allowed the Laboratory of Neural Network Technologies to develop its own approaches to solving the problems of neural network development. A number of useful tools created recently by the Laboratory have been published in the ISSResearch repository on GitHub ‒ the world's leading web service for hosting OpenSource IT projects and their joint development.

Thus, the Laboratory team has developed a convenient set of tools for converting the formats of "datacets" - sets of marked-up images. Conversion tools allow developers to use most existing datacets to train neural networks in various development environments (frameworks). Marked images of the most popular formats (ADE20K, CVAT, CITYSCAPES, Open Images Dataset, VOC) can be translated into COCO format, which is used by the Laboratory as the base. Further, the datacet can be converted into formats suitable for training neural networks in Caffe, TensorFlow (Tensorflow Object Detection API), MXNet (Gluon), Caffe2 (Detectron) frameworks, as well as in the VOCCALIB format, which is supported by Intel OpenVINO. The conversion environment is located in the open ISS repository on GitHub in the Dataset Converters section.

The functionality of the SecurOS FaceX neural network facial recognition module is complemented by the ability to detect face substitution with a printed photo or image from a mobile device. If a substitution is detected, FaceX will issue an appropriate notification to the operator.

Several important features have also been added to improve the multifactor authentication mode for integrated MCDS.

SecurOS 10.2: SecurOS FaceX Neural Network Facial Recognition Module and Local Storage Support in SecurOS Cluster

On May 16, 2019, ISS unveiled the release of the SecurOS 10.2 hardware platform. As noted in ISS, from release 10.2, users can: SecurOS FaceX face recognition module; software part of the SecurOS UVSS vehicle bottom inspection complex and other updates, including support for local storage of physical servers in SecurOS Cluster.

SecurOS Video Management Integration Platform upgraded to version 10.2

According to the developer, SecurOS FaceX expands the possibilities of application video analysts for biometric control, providing higher recognition accuracy in a wide range of external conditions (illumination, angle). The module has no critical dependence on the cooperativity of the behavior of the subjects (i.e., recognition is less sensitive to the angle of tilt and turn of the head). Multiple SecurOS FaceX servers can run on a single database person. The size of the database of persons data is not limited. Also, the number of checklists is not limited. In subsequent releases, it is planned to expand the functionality of the module. In particular, the ability to work with several FaceX servers from the same operator interface will be added; possibility of performing a retrospective search of subjects by photograph; integration with SecurOS/OPS module, ACS including functionality support. multifactor authentication

The hardware and software complex for inspecting the bottoms of SecurOS UVSS cars received completely redesigned software. ISS noted that the software module supports all the main functions of the complex:

  • Processing video from the scanning platform and forming a composite, high resolution, image of the bottom of the car (UVSS image).
  • Storing a complete set of data related to bottom scanning and vehicle number recognition, with the possibility of searching by them.
  • Support for visual inspection of the bottom, including digital zoom.
  • A visual comparison mode of the UVSS image with a previously stored reference UVSS image of the same vehicle.

SecurOS Cluster technology is complemented by full support for video recording to local server storage. To ensure the integrity of the video archive, when practicing failover/failback modes, you do not need to use a dedicated central storage. During SecurOS Cluster, any virtual video server can move between physical servers. In this case, video is recorded to the local storage of the physical server on which the virtual video server is currently running. SecurOS Cluster creates a single video storage environment, giving each virtual video server access to its videos on the vaults of all available physical servers. As a result, operators see the archive as continuous, the developer claims.

According to the developer, the SecurOS Evidence Manager update is another step in the direction. cyber security Video exported to Evidence- files can be reliably protected from unauthorized viewing. algorithms enciphering AES-128, AES-192, and AES-256 are supported. Encrypted video is played by the standalone video player SecurOS Evidence Manager, provided you enter the password specified when exporting the video.

Also in SecurOS Auto 10.2, the list of patterns of recognizable numbers has been expanded and the quality of recognition has been improved:

Description of SecurOS

Enabling data-intensive intelligent recognition systems and their integration with third-party hardware and software, SecurOS is the basis for developing specialized service applications for various objects focused on a certain category of consumers and providing the ability to solve typical application problems in the most convenient and efficient way.

A number of new specially developed software algorithms implemented during the creation of the SecurOS platform allow you to solve security problems at a qualitatively new level, providing both integrator companies and customers with numerous advantages when implementing and working with the system.

According to March 2011, the SecurOS platform implements the all-in-one concept. For specialists who carry out technical implementation of projects using it, for end users this principle implies an effective solution to the tasks of integrating equipment and software from various manufacturers:

  • video subsystems (including telemetry devices and IP video cameras)
  • audiosubsystems
  • intelligent subsystems for recognizing car numbers and railway car numbers, face recognition
  • target tracking/left objects detection module
  • module for determining traffic flow parameters
  • access control systems
  • security and fire alarm
  • specialized service subsystems ("Pass Bureau," "Time and Attendance," reporting, notification, etc.)
  • life support systems
  • process, for example, weighing equipment
  • actuating devices
  • sensors, sensors, detectors, etc.

The open hardware platform SecurOS allows the use of a wide range of technical devices for various purposes (computer equipment, security tools), computer platforms, data warehouses, information systems, etc. This list is constantly expanding.

For example, you can connect both a regular and a specialized keyboard to each workstation to simultaneously control video cameras from different manufacturers. This "multi-tender" is provided by the ability to assign an appropriate individual protocol to any serial port of the corresponding server device.

The SecurOS platform, ensuring the interaction of the equipment of all subsystems, makes it possible to determine and implement the general logic of the security system in accordance with the tasks set, to organize the necessary response to certain events: both a single and individual components. To implement these settings, macros and the built-in script programming language are used (the format of the script commands is described in the document "SecurOS. Programmer's Manual ").

The undoubted advantage of SecurOS is the new mechanisms for integrating telemetry devices and rotary video cameras, OPS equipment, third-party CDS, which allow you to "develop" the security system in response to new threats and Customer requirements. Using the method of editing text configuration files is an effective solution to quickly integrate the necessary equipment into the system for the technical implementation of projects of any complexity.

The list of equipment and technical devices integrated by ISS specialists is constantly expanding. See list of currently integrated equipment
