At the end of 2022, the system integrator of Lanit JSC received revenue of 11.9 billion rubles. This is 21.7% more than the result for the previous year, which amounted to 9.8 billion rubles. Such data are reflected in the financial statements of the company, published at the end of April 2023.
According to Interfax, the bulk of Lanit's revenue was brought by services for the development, modernization, testing and support of software - they accounted for a total of 7.1 billion rubles. In general, the company received about 8.3 billion rubles from the provision of these and other services in the IT sector in 2022, while a year earlier the corresponding articles provided a total of 5.8 billion rubles. The integrator gained a little more than 3 billion rubles from the sale of IT equipment and software licenses. For comparison: at the end of 2021, this direction brought about 4 billion rubles.
It is noted that the cost of sales of the company in 2002 rose by 21% - to 10.5 billion rubles. Lanit JSC is one of the oldest Russian IT companies. Its sole owner is Philip Gens, who is also the main owner of Lanit Holding, which has shares in 32 Russian IT companies. In 2022, these companies paid dividends in the amount of 6.5 billion rubles in favor of Lanit Holding, "Interfax said in its materials[1]% |
2020: "Lanit" increased revenue by 25% in the pandemic year
The revenue of the Lanit group at the end of 2020 amounted to 216.81 billion rubles with VAT, the company told TAdviser in April 2021. This is 24.7% more than in 2019. And the number of Lanit personnel increased by almost 64%, to 14.1 thousand people.
Lanita President Philippe Gens told TAdviser that the beginning of 2020 for the entire IT industry and for their group, in particular, was difficult, since no one could predict how the pandemic would develop and how it would affect the market. But in the end, the year turned out pretty well for the IT-Business. Of course, the external situation played a significant role in this, Gens added.
At the same time, it is worth noting, firstly, the technological base developed over the years - it was she who made it possible to make a rapid leap, and secondly, the heroism of our employees, many of whom during the most stringent quarantine worked continuously not only remotely, but also at facilities, - says the president of Lanita. |
In December, Philip Gens said that in 2020 the company had a lot of work related to the removal, updating of the IT infrastructure[2]. And earlier, in October, he noted that if earlier during crises companies reduced IT costs, now "smart companies" do not do this: they understand that everything is changing, that they need to invest in the future. In this regard, many companies in 2020 increased IT costs. And this is not counting the cost of remote work[3]
I am especially pleased that among the Lanit projects last year there were many problems focused on solving the most acute problems for all of us. Thus, experts participated in the development and testing of software that was required during quarantine. A number of clinics specialized in the treatment of COVID, starting with Kommunarka (KB No. 40), have introduced smart AR glasses to communicate doctors in the "red" and "green" zones. There were, of course, other very useful projects, and we got a lot of fun working on them. For example, we have created a service for business interaction with control bodies - a platform for resolving issues related to business inspections. It's nice to do really good things, and in this regard we can be proud of the past year, "Lanita President told TAdviser. |
IDC in April gave a preliminary estimate of the growth of the Russian market in rubles by 14% for 2020. This is a higher dynamics than in 2019: then analysts estimated it at 8%. And in February, IDC noted that none of the integrators and large software suppliers surveyed by their company had a drop in revenue in 2020.
As for our plans for 2021, we have created a big reserve, but we do not yet understand whether it will be possible to fully implement it - this largely depends on the development of the situation with the pandemic and restrictive measures, - said Philip Gens. |

The company continues to cooperate with most of its previous clients in the framework of new projects. Also, Lanit specialists ensured a large-scale migration of the RusHydro group from the Western ECM platform to the Russian LanDocs without stopping working with documents. One of the most difficult projects was implemented in the Republic of Sakha - this is equipping engineering systems of the Yakut GRES-2.
In addition, in 2018, the group's companies continued to work on projects for GIS housing and communal services, the Unified Information System in the field of procurement, and the Unified Information and Analytical System of the city of Moscow.
Regarding priority business areas for further development, Lanit notes that they are very closely monitoring technological trends and are trying to be present in all promising niches, often ahead of the market.
Now in a special focus of our attention - blockchain, big data, artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, - they say in the company. |

The net loss of Lanit CJSC in 2016 amounted to 1.46 billion rubles, while a year ago the company showed a net profit of 1.15 billion rubles.
When asked about the reasons for the loss, Vladimir Gribov, vice president, executive director of Lanit, told TAdviser that it was related to the payment of the tax authorities' claim.
The Federal Tax Service, we recall, filed claims against Lanit back in March 2015. The company in 2011-2012 underpaid value added tax (VAT) and income tax. The integrator overestimated the cost of income tax by submitting VAT to the deduction from work with subcontractors who did not participate in the integrator's projects, and reflecting the double cost of buying Diebold ATMs ( see details below in the History/2015 section).
The Federal Tax Service demanded that Lanit pay 1.42 billion rubles.
The integrator tried to challenge the decision of the tax service, but achieved only a deferral and postponement of payment for 2016, so as not to disrupt the implementation of large government contracts, including with the Central Bank, Rosstat and the Federal Treasury.
As of the end of 2016, the debt on taxes and other payments was closed, and to calculate profitability indicators for the credit rating, the negative effect on reporting was interpreted by the RAEX rating agency as an expense on one-time events, adds Vladimir Gribov.
The activities of the Lanit group of companies as a whole, as follows from the words of Gribov, are carried out normally.
Lanit has a wide range of competencies, a balanced portfolio of products, services, has a stable flow of orders, shows high operating profitability, - he notes |
