The leader of the ranking "TAdviser100: The largest IT companies in Russia" in 2015 was Rostec, or rather the electronic cluster of this holding, which united such enterprises as Roselectronics, United Instrument-Making Corporation (OPK), National Center for Informatization, RT-Inform, Yota Devices and others. The revenue of the "electronic" direction of Rostec in 2015 amounted to 210.7 billion rubles, an increase of 15% compared to 2014.

Behind Rostec are NCC, Lanit and T1 Integration (formerly Technoserv), as well as the rapidly growing Softline company in recent years. A significant increase in rubles was shown by Kaspersky Lab, which is understandable by the global presence of the company and the receipt of income in foreign currency.

"For many years, the National Computer Corporation was considered the irreplaceable leader of the Russian IT market. It makes the main turn on the sale of other people's IT products through a distributor OCS. The total revenue of ranking companies in 2015 exceeded 1.1 trillion rubles. A similar ranking indicator for 2014 was about 876 billion rubles. Thus, the total revenue of the companies included in the TAdviser100 increased by 26%, largely due to the inclusion of Rostec indicators in the rating.

At the end of 2015, the revenue of most of the ranking participants increased. Of the 100 companies, only 14 showed negative dynamics. The 83s recorded revenue growth.

Svetlana Ivanova, a member of the board of directors of the Energy Consulting group of companies, notes that various segments of the Russian IT market in 2015 showed different dynamics: "To a greater extent, the volume of business in the acquisition of IT equipment and licenses has decreased, the volume of the IT consulting market has decreased to a lesser extent. The largest drop in revenue was noted among Sovzond (-28%) and UTSB (-27%). The maximum growth was recorded at Amtel-Service (+ 391.9%) and STG (+ 313.9%). Revenue growth of 2 or more times was also shown by West Concept, Interprocom and InfoTeCS.

Among the companies in the top 10, growth was recorded among all participants, among the top 20 - among 19 (the decline was noted in Asteros by 5%).

According to Richard van Wageningen, CEO of Orange Business Services (Orange Business Services, Equant) in Russia and the CIS, "in a certain sense, the market is in a crisis state, but any crisis must come to an end."

The share of the 10 largest IT companies is 65.6% of the total revenue of the top 100, the share of the top 20 is 81.7%. In the ranking at the end of 2014, these indicators were 56 and 78%, respectively. The amount of revenue of more than 100 billion rubles in 2015 was recorded in 3 companies. Revenue of more than 1 billion rubles for the past year was recorded in 68 companies.

I would not say that there is a boom in sales of domestic software, but increasingly companies are turning to custom development, which is based on free software and which is carried out by Russian companies. The leaders of the Russian IT market of tomorrow will have to have serious political weight and world-class technological resources. Lack of administrative influence will help compensate for technical expertise, and vice versa. But without one or another, counting on leadership in tomorrow's IT market will be much more difficult than so far.
