Supplier of management tools corporate infrastructure and IT. As of summer of 2013 the staff of the company totals about 90 employees working in Berlin, Cambridge (piece Massachusetts) and Singapore. The client audience of Alfabet AG includes 70 international companies among which —Daimler,Volkswagen,BMW,Credit Suisse and UBS.

Founders of Alfabet are Erik Masing and the native of RussiaOleg Kovrigin.

In June, 2013 Software AG purchased the developer of management tools project portfolios. The management tools portfolios of IT projects developed by alfabet AG company are supposed to be added to packets for business process modeling of ARIS of development of Software AG. The joint tool kit will give the chance to monitor at the same time course of execution of projects and to regulate the course of business processes, said in the statement of the company. Terms of transaction are not disclosed, and it should be approved by antimonopoly authorities of Germany.

In recent years Software AG actively purchases other companies. So, in April, 2013 it purchased the developer of cloud platforms for small and medium business of LongJump, and in 2011 the Terracotta company specializing in technologies of data management in RAM was purchased.

Software AG along with TIBCO is one of the few remained large independent developers of binding software. For quite some time now it tries to enter also the market of cloud applicaions.
