This combination of businesses enables organizations to better disclose and derive value from data as it moves between local applications, data streams, SaaS applications, legacy data warehouses, and cloud-based data platforms such as Amazon RedShift, Databricks, and Snowflake. The combined hybrid platform iPaaS will provide consolidated, consistent, continuous data for intelligent applications and a connected enterprise, the company said in a press release.
The StreamSets DataOps Platform platform complements Software AG's digital business portfolio, which integrates transactional data passing through hybrid application landscapes, Software AG said. According to the company's representatives, the acquisition of StreamSets will also provide Software AG with access to cloud data integration within the broader data integration market, the segment of which grows by 26% per year and is expected to reach $3.5 billion by 2025.[1]
