2017: Information on creation

At the beginning October, 2017 it became known of intentions of Alfa Group on creation of digital bank which will be engaged remote customer service. For the new project almost found the head.

According to  Vedomosti  with reference to two retail bankers and two people close to Alfa Group, creation of digital-bank which will work according to the separate license and will belong to group, but not Alfa-Bank is planned.

According to the representative of Alfa Group, "creation of independent digital-bank is discussed as a possibility of strategic development of group at the market of modern banking technologies.

As the interlocutor of the edition, close to group, told, remote service will not suit all clients of Alfa-Bank, however part of them will pass to new model. For this reason in group want that at them was what to offer clients.

Also, according to the source, in  the market there are work models which give convenience of remote service and  at the same time  do not incur expenses,  as at  classical banks. Search of the project manager by the beginning of October, 2017 is on  a closing stage, Vedomosti writes.

The new project of Alfa Group will not be the copy of the existing digital banks, the interlocutor of the edition close to group added. In Russia several large digital-banks and services work: Tinkoff bank Rocketbank which enters in FC Otkrytiye, and Touch Bank "OTP of bank".^[1]

The founder of Tinkoff bank Oleg Tinkov let know that he considers an initiative of Alfa Group copying of own business scheme.
