2025: Kyivstar bought GigaCloud
At the end of September 2025, it became known that the mobile operator Kyivstar was acquiring GigaCloud, the largest Ukrainian cloud provider. The corresponding application was sent to the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine.
According to Forbes Ukraine, we are talking about the purchase of an 80 percent stake in GigaCloud (Gigaklaud LLC). The amount of the transaction was not disclosed. At the same time, market participants estimate the cost of GigaCloud at about $10 million.
As of the end of September 2025, the shareholders of Gigaklaud LLC are Nazlami Limited (Malta) with a share of 48.43%, Telliani Limited (Cyprus) with 31.15% and Zvityaga Limited (Malta) with 20.42%. The founders of the cloud provider include Nazariy Kurochko, Anton Khvastunov and Oleg Polishchuk. GigaCloud confirmed information about the sale of the company.

For Kyivstar, the deal is part of a strategy to transform the company into a digital asset operator. The GigaCloud infrastructure includes five data centers, three of which are located in Ukraine, two in Poland. These facilities meet Tier III and Tier IV reliability levels. The company offers solutions for the public sector, accounting and FinTech segment. A high level of data protection in the cloud is declared, confirmed by the certificates ISO 27001, ISO 27701, ISO 27017, ISO 27018, PCI DSS, CIPF, CSA STAR and VMware Sovereign Cloud Provider.[1]
