2026: Getting Technopark Status
The Moscow Polymetal Plant (part of the TVEL company) received the status of a technopark. The specialization of the site is the development and production of 3D equipment and materials, network and telecom equipment, as well as chemical products and technologies for the automotive industry. This was announced on February 19, 2026 by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin in his channel in the Max messenger.
Technopark "Moscow Polymetal Plant" is located in the Moskvorechye-Saburovo area at 49 Kashirskoye Shosse. The total area of the premises is 56.7 thousand square meters. m. The plans for the development of the technopark include strengthening cooperation between residents, creating a center for collective use of equipment, strengthening cooperation with specialized Moscow universities for the training of engineering and technical personnel.
There are 53 technology parks in Moscow, including 11 investment priority projects of the city to create technology parks. More than 2.4 thousand companies operate at these sites (20 of them have the status of an anchor resident), more than 78 thousand jobs have been created.
The status of a technopark or investment priority project provides benefits for land tax and property tax, a decrease in the rate of rent for land. Management companies can apply an investment tax deduction of up to 90% of equipment and construction costs, as well as a reduced income tax rate (13.5% in the regional part). The combined use of benefits allows you to reduce the tax burden on regional taxes to 25%.
Anchor residents can write off up to 90% of fixed asset investments through an investment tax deduction by applying the same reduced income tax rate. Residents have the right to grants of up to 30 million rubles a year for equipping equipment. For management companies, subsidies are provided for the purchase of equipment, the development of the property complex, technological connection to engineering networks, reimbursement of part of lease payments and interest on loans.[1]
