History

2023: The start of construction of the complex in Moscow for 35 billion rubles

On January 26, 2023, Rostec announced the construction of a complex in Moscow for the production of components for aircraft engines. The volume of investments in this project is 35 billion rubles.

A large industrial complex for the production of parts for aircraft and helicopter engines with a total area of ​ ​ more than 77 thousand square meters. m will unite under one roof the enterprises of MMP named after V.V. Chernyshev and PC "Salyut," which will continue to operate on the territory of the new facility, retaining their identity and names.

Moscow begins to build a complex for the production of aircraft engines for 35 billion rubles

The complex will become one of the largest industrial centers in the capital, where more than 13 thousand people will work. In four buildings of the new industrial facility, the United Engine Corporation will launch the production of components for a number of aircraft engines TV7-117ST-01/02, PD-14, PD-8 and helicopter - VK-650V, VK-1600V. The Additive Technology Center will also be located here, where parts with geometry that is not available in traditional machining views will be created.

According to him, the construction of four main production facilities is planned to be completed in 2026. No country in the world has forced the solution of the problems of aircraft production at such a pace, he added.

This Rostec project is directly related to the state program for the development of the aviation industry, according to which by 2030 the aviation industry needs to produce about 5 thousand aircraft engines of different types, hundreds of pieces every year.[1]

2019: Renaming as PC "Salyut" JSC "UEC"

In 2019, the company received the name Salyut Production Complex of UEC JSC (Salyut PC of UEC JSC).

2015: Transformation into a joint stock company

On April 7, 2015, the Federal State Unitary Enterprise "Scientific and Production Center for Gas Turbine Construction" Salyut "was transformed into a joint-stock company. The change in the organizational and legal form took place in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of May 17, 2012 No. 621.

2011: Name change to FSUE NPC Gas Turbine Construction Salyut

By order of the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation No. 248 dated March 2, 2011, the enterprise was named FSUE NPC Gas Turbine Construction Salyut.

Among the previous names: Motor Plant No. 24 named after M.V. Frunze, Plant No. 45 MAP, MMPO Salyut, FSUE MMPP Salyut[2]"
