New Director of Digital and Information Technologies of Sibur - Anton Rubenchik

At the end of October 2025, Sibur announced that Anton Rubenchik had been appointed director of digital and information technologies at the company. In this position, he will be responsible for the entire digital circuit of the company, focusing on increasing efficiency and accelerating development, technological independence in terms of IT and introducing artificial intelligence technologies into key business processes. His area of ​ ​ responsibility includes the activities of Sibur Digital (development and implementation of IT solutions) and Sibur Connect (operation and support of IT). Read more here.

2022: Establishing a company

On March 23, 2022, the SIBUR oil and gas chemical holding announced the creation of a subsidiary of SIBUR Connect LLC, which will combine the competencies for the implementation of large IT infrastructure and communications projects of SIBUR.

The creation of the company in the holding's IT cluster is due to the merger of the petrochemical businesses of SIBUR and TAIF in 2021 and an increase in the number of projects for the development and modernization of IT infrastructure and communication systems.

SIBUR's subsidiary Digital is responsible for the development, development and maintenance of new IT solutions and platforms, and SIBUR Connect's main task will be to replicate IT solutions within the perimeter of the combined company, including the developments of SIBUR Digital, which are already used at the company's enterprises. Both subsidiaries - SIBUR Digital and SIBUR Connect - belong to the function "Digital and Information Technologies," which is headed by Alisa Melnikova.

Rustam Abdrakhmanov has been appointed General Director of SIBUR Connect.
