2021: SAP bought SwoopTalent
In mid-August 2021, SAP announced the purchase of SwoopTalent. The company does not disclose the financial terms of the transaction.
SAP Product Director Meg Bear noted that large-scale customization requires a powerful data platform that extends to several systems. The artificial intelligence platform SwoopTalent was created for managing data from various HR systems and workflows, combining and analyzing information that helps business leaders make more informed personnel decisions.
SAP plans to use SwoopTalent tools in conjunction with SAP SuccessFactors solutions to improve its Human Resources Management (HXM) systems. The SwoopTalent focuses on data analysis and machine learning, which SAP reports will help support efforts to provide "individual employee experience" and "increase organization flexibility."
