Dashbasethe American developer of the tools helping to look for malfunctions in work of communication services which allow to communicate by audio-and video conference and also through text correspondences. The solutions of the company created using Kubernetes analyze a log (event logs) and indicate problems in work of systems in case of their emergence. Dialpad, SkySwitch, Stem, etc. are among clients of Dashbase.

The startup of Dashbase is founded in 2016 by Alex Munch and John Vang in Palo Alto (the State of California, the USA).

History

2020: Cisco purchased Dashbase

In December, 2020 Cisco announced acquisition of Dashbase at the price which the companies did not begin to call. Dashbase technologies will add the platform for application monitoring of AppDynamics which before Cisco purchased for $3.7 billion.

Cisco purchased the developer of tools of the analysis of event logs Dashbase

According to her, developments of Dashbase will help to increase data transparency and to integrate them within the different systems. In other words, it will facilitate to users of AppDynamics access to the data "in different technology, user and business areas", she explained.

In the comment to the SiliconANGLE edition the analyst of Constellation Research Holger of Müller (Holger Mueller) was positive for the next acquisition of Cisco, having emphasized that it is very important to organizations and enterprises to understand what occurs in their computer systems. According to the specialist, Dashbase will make AppDynamics even more powerful tool using which the companies will be able to control the events in the application environment.[1]
