2024: Establishing a Company

On April 18, 2024, Astra Group announced the creation of a new company, Iksdata, within which it is planned to develop hardware and software complexes (PAC) for high-load systems and data analysis systems.

According to him, to include the finished PAC in the register of Russian radio-electronic products, which is maintained by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, you need your own production site. Therefore, in order to follow the requirements of the department, the Iksdata company was created, explained Yatsenko.

At the same time, Iksdata itself will not produce software and hardware complexes - for this it is planned to attract OEM-partners, namely Russian manufacturers of computer equipment "Aquarius," Yadro, Kraftway, Delta Computers, etc.

The development of database management systems, including hardware and software systems, is one of the new areas of Astra Group, which should ensure the growth of the group's business by three times in 2024-2025.

The company expects an increase in financial indicators due to the development of existing product areas, as well as through the launch of new ones. The first includes the OS itself and the ecosystem of related software products - DBMS, virtualization system, mail system, etc.

In April 2024, the Technical IT Support Center (CTITP; partners of Astra Group) announced the launch of the Competence Center for Migration from IBM DB2 to Tantor DBMS.^[1]
