This is done using the new reserved_connections configuration option available in the postgresql.conf file. Another change is the transaction_timeout parameter, which allows you to cancel any transaction if it lasts longer than a specified time interval, and applies to both explicit and implicit transactions.

In the updated version of the Tantor DBMS, support for offline transactions has appeared in PL/pgSQ: an extension of the PL/pgSQL language for offline transactions has been added, which makes it possible to independently capture or cancel a child transaction without affecting what is happening with the current one (for example, for maintaining an audit log).
