2020: Merge to the developer of AOSSCI drones

In the middle of September, 2020 the American company on the flying cars production Terrafugia announced merge to the Chinese developer drones AOSSCI. The united company will become affiliated firm of the Chinese car maker Geely Technology Group who purchased all transactions and assets of Terrafugia in 2017.

According to the CEO of new company Aerofugia Technology Jing Zhao, the new company will propose integrated solutions in the sector of the aircraft of general purpose (AGP). Merger of companies will become the beginning of strategy implementation of Geely on development of AON in the "flying cars plus drones" format.

Use of the environmentally friendly electric power, vertical take off and landing and also pilotless driving - here future trends in the industry of aircraft of general purpose, - Jing Zhao told, having added that in these directions the flying cars and unmanned aerial vehicles of the united company will develop.

By words Jing Zhao, similar engineering developments of two companies laid the foundation for merge, and will promote further intensive exchange of innovations, reliability augmentation of products and also development of joint research and development. It is expected that merger of companies will allow to increase efficiency and also to reduce costs.
