The Moscow organization projecting power objects Mosenergoproekt (MEP) was created in 1922 within implementation of the plan of GOELRO for construction of power plants. In 1927 the organization participated in development of the first scheme of heat supply of Moscow. Mosenergoproekt was JSC Mosenergo Fuel and Energy Company branch.
The organization provides a full range of services within projects of new construction, reconstruction and modernization:
- thermal power plants;
- thermal trunks;
- the closed and open-air substations;
- cable and aerial lines;
- means of communication and telemechanics;
- and also on development of perspective schemes of heat and power supply of Moscow and other regions of Russia.
More than 20 power plants which are logging in Mosenergo are constructed on projects of the Mosenergoproekt organization. Except objects of generation Mosenergoproekt developed projects of the thermal trunks closed and open-air substations, cable and aerial lines, means of communication and telemechanics and also perspective schemes of heat and power supply of Moscow and other regions of Russia.
