2019: Decrease in revenue of Oranzh Business Servisez by 2% up to 8.8 billion rubles.

At the end of 2019 the Orange Business Services company (Oranzh Business Servisez LLC) took the 23rd place in the Ranking of TAdviser: 50 most profitable representative offices of the foreign IT companies in Russia. Revenue of the company in 2019 made 8,842,783 thousand rubles that is 2% lower than results of 2018.

2020

Plans of opening in Europe nine Labs Orange 5G laboratory

The Orange group announced on February 8, 2021 opening in Europe of nine laboratories Orange 5G Labs. Representatives of business, the public and municipal authorities will be able to test work of networks of "fifth generation", is closer to get acquainted with 5G ecosystems opportunities.

According to the research Orange and GlobalWebIndex research company, 72% of the organizations expect that operators will be able to give an opportunity to test 5G networks before their start in commercial operation. Opportunities and advantages of networks of "fifth generation" will allow to estimate Orange 5G Labs. On local platforms of the company will be able to test already used solutions and services in a perspective ecosystem, to be engaged in development of new, preparing a business model and processes for transformation.

Platforms which are close to local ecosystems are Orange 5G Lab

During 2021 the Lab Orange 5G network will appear in France. Sites will be deployed in regions that not only large corporations, but also the regional authorities, representatives of medium and small business, startups could use them. The first laboratory 5G in Shatiyona (in the suburb of Paris) opened in February, 2021. Then gradually platforms will be started in Paris, Lille, Marseille, Lyon, Toulouse and Rennes.

Some laboratories will have a specialization. For example, on the Lyons platform it will be possible to get acquainted with products and services of the Industry 4.0; Parisian will be focused on large corporate clients of Orange Business Services international division.

In the first half of 2021 progressive laboratories will also appear in other European countries where there is Orange. In Bucharest (Romania) the project is started for development of commercial, research and innovation projects in partnership with the Polytechnical university of Bucharest. In Belgium Orange 5G Lab will be located in the territory of seaport of Antwerp. Already ready-made products and solutions which were created in cooperation with the industrial partners working at the port territory, for example, the complemented working environment or critical communications systems will be shown here.

Consolidation of divisions on development of digital solutions for health care based on Enovacom

According to the company, the divisions of Orange Business Services developing digital solutions for health care will be joint based on the belonging Orange of Enovacom company since October, 2020. Examination of the combined team will be applied to project implementation and in other regions of presence of Orange Business Services, in close cooperation with local gurus and partners.

Theft of the hackers of Nefilim given as a result of the attack

On July 16, 2020 it became known of an attack of a virus racketeer on the Orange systems. Malefactors managed to steal data of clients.

By data from Bleeping Computer, the hacker attack was aimed at division of Orange Business Services. Cyberattack was it is performed hacker the Nefilim groupings, and the stolen data appeared afterwards on their website (the archive file of 339 MB in size - 'Orange_leak_part1.rar'). In the file most likely there are given e-mail, schemes of airplanes and files from the French producer of the ATR Aircraft airplanes. There are assumptions that the group of hackers of Nefilim also stands behind an attack to the Australian logistic provider Toll Group in February, 2020.

Orange Business Services attacked a virus racketeer

Orange confirmed the attack made, according to the company, using a virus racketeer during the period from July 4 to July 5. Representatives of the company noted that its team of experts on security "was mobilized for identification of a source of the attack and took all necessary measures which are necessary for security of a system". Nevertheless, hackers nevertheless managed to get data access about 20 clients through service of a virtual hosting, however other services of the company did not suffer. In general Orange has 266 million clients worldwide.

The vice president for the product AttackIQ Mark Begli, the company which specializes in provision of services on corporate security, noted that the occurred incident very serious as he mentions not only Orange, but also and employees, corporate clients, whose data were revealed. He considers that the companies should work providently, to implement the automated solutions which will help to detect quickly attempt of penetration into a system and to stop it.[1]

Disclosure to the authorities of the subscribers given about movement to constrain the outbreak of a coronavirus

At the end of March, 2020 Vodafone, Deutsche Telekom, Orange and five other telecommunication providers agreed to exchange data on movement of subscribers with the European Commission. It is supposed that these data will help the authorities to constrain spread of a coronavirus. Read more here.

MegaFon On February 26, 2020 announced start international 5G-roaming. Advantages of technology of mobile communications steel are available to subscribers of the company on foreign trips. 2019

Opening of an accelerator of Orange Fab and Center of client innovations in Skolkovo

On October 22, 2019 the partnership agreement between Orange Business Services of Russia and CIS and Skolkovo Foundation was signed. Within which the international service provider Orange Business Services opens an accelerator of Orange Fab and the Center of client innovations in Skolkovo. In the status of the partner Orange will perform activity which contributes to the development of researches, developments and commercialization of their results in Skolkovo.

As of October, 2019 the global network of Orange Fab includes 17 accelerators on four continents which participants of programs were already more than 400 startups. The Russian Orange Fab will become the first corporate accelerator in network managed by Orange Business Services and focused on joint innovations with corporations. Formation of subjects of programs of acceleration and selection of startups will be performed by Orange jointly with the clients. The status of the partner will give to Orange ample opportunities on cooperation with resident startups of Skolkovo Foundation, participation in activities and events which he will organize. Besides, starts of acceleration programs, joint with Skolkovo Foundation, are in the future possible.

Orange Fab in Russia will attract in the programs the technology startups developing solutions in the directions of artificial intelligence, analytics of Big Data, the solutions for the Internet of things, network technologies of new generation, perspective cloud computing and in other spheres. Orange prepares for start acceleration programs with corporate clients from the most different industries. As reported in Orange Business Service, the start of the first Orange Fab Russia program will be announced in the nearest future.

Acceleration programs will be free for a startup, their main stage will take three months. During this time startups will actively interact with experts of the Center of client innovations Orange for preparation of the joint solution for pilot implementation in large corporation — the client of Orange Business Services. In case of successful implementation of pilot implementation for participants of the program the possibility of large-scale implementation or distribution of the solution in other regions of presence of Orange can open.

The agreement with ANO API for the purpose of development of "the smart cities" in the Far East and Arctic region

On September 5, 2019 it became known that the international service provider Orange Business Services and Agency of the Far East on the investment attraction and support of export (ANO API) signed the agreement providing cooperation when implementing projects in the Far Eastern Federal District and the Arctic region of Russia. Within the agreement Orange will provide the international and Russian examination in implementation of solutions of the smart cities and ensuring uninterrupted communication in courts and remote objects, and ANO API will assist Orange in receiving the state and financial support and also in establishing cooperation with institutes of development and authorities for successful implementation of the conceived projects.

In particular, it is planned that Orange Business Services will take part in study of elements and complete solutions for development of projects of the smart cities. The concept of the smart city, city resources and assets, such as transport, housing and public utilities, health care and other structures, will be controlled more effectively thanks to technologies of Internet of Things. Orange Business Services implemented already more than 100 similar projects in Europe, Africa, Asia and in the Middle East, allowing.

Besides, interaction of the parties in providing zones of geological researches, sea vessels and also the remote and sparsely populated cities with high-speed Internet access is provided and sovremennyit communication systems. Examination of Orange Business Services is going to be used for ensuring cyber security of the enterprises in the Far Eastern Federal District and the Arctic region.

Purchase of the supplier of cybersecurity services of SecureData

On February 1, 2019 Orange announced purchase of the supplier of cybersecurity services of SecureData from company management and a private equity fund of August Equity. As a result of the transaction which cost was decided not to be disclosed the sold company will closely interact with Orange Business Services for providing cybersecurity services to an expanded circle of clients. Cooperation with NPO Analitika

On January 31, 2019 Orange Business Services announced the beginning of cooperation with NPO Analitika, one of the Russian solution providers for the analysis of behavior of visitors on the basis of technology Wi-Fi. Specialized sensors will allow retailers to collect data of visitors of outlets with the module included in Wi-fi on smartphones, and after to apply these data to customization of marketing campaigns. The acquired information will not comprise personal data, meeting all requirements of regulators.

Use of technologies in solutions of Orange for large retail networks will become the main result of cooperation. The companies clients will be able to understand better the audience, to increase advertizing efficiency and also to lift an average bill and the profit of each of shops, using data retrieveds in the subsequent communication with visitors.

2018

Helmut Rayzinger is the new CEO of Orange Business Services

At the beginning of May, 2018 the IT service provider of Orange Business Services announced change of the CEO. The place of Thierry Bonomm who announced resignation in March was occupied by Helmut Rayzinger who held before a post of the executive vice president for development of the international business of Orange Business Services and was responsible for work with telecommunication clients outside France. 2017: Partnership with Huawei

On February 21, 2017 Orange Business Services announced development of global strategy of work with clouds and announced technology from a public cloud in partnership with Huawei.

As a part of a product services of design, audit of infrastructure, IT integration and the managed cloud solutions for cloud infrastructure and applications. Services will add the Orange service portfolio for private clouds and will help to implement initiatives of digital transformation of business.

Main objective of global cloud strategy – the help to the international corporations in transfer of the used corporate applications in a cloud for ensuring their availability at deployment regardless of the geographical region.

Start of cloud services is planned across all Western Europe and in Southeast Asia for April, 2017, the USA - in October, 2017. The region the Middle East and in Africa - in 2018.

Partnership with Huawei allows to use OpenStack technologies. Open standards and extensive compatibility - key factors for increase in cost efficiency of the big scalable cloud solutions available from public clouds.

Public cloud services will fill up a portfolio of Orange technologies in the sector of private clouds. With ensuring the maximum level of security of the cloud infrastructure customers will be helped by division of Orange Cyberdefense.

Orange provides services of a hosting in the data centers, network connection, physical and information security, a management tool infrastructure and applications of customers, services of support of migration of IT infrastructure in a cloud. In

Huawei will provide the necessary equipment, will develop a technology platform and the software package OpenStack, will undertake support of the third line.

2016

The head office is opened

On November 22, 2016 the press service of Orange Business Services announced opening of head office of the company in "City Mercury the Tower".

The ceremony of cutting of a ribbon was held jointly by Richard van Vageningen, the CEO of Orange Business Services in Russia and the CIS, Patricia Valdron-Verner, the senior vice president, Helmut Rayzinger, the executive vice president for development of the international business, Andrey Bugrov, the board member of RUIE and the deputy CEO of JSC Norilsk Nickel MMC, Sergey Plugotarenko, the director of the Russian Association for Electronic Communications (RAEC) and Tom Keruel, the commercial director of the French-Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Moving to new office became one of actions in implementation of Orange of the investment strategy in Russia. In its framework in 2016 divisions of service provider in Nizhny Novgorod and Khabarovsk moved to offices.

Development of network infrastructure and network of own data centers became points of the investment plan for Orange Business Services. In 2016 strategic partnership is concluded with DPC of IXcellerate Moscow One on lease of additional 300 server racks for a period of 10 years. Orange Business Services rents 5.3 thousand sq.m of office space in the Tower "City Mercury the Tower"

The office at which about 500 employees of Orange Business Services will work will occupy two floors. The company signed the contract with the lessor at the end of 2015 for a period of 10 years, moving is planned for August, 2016.

"Merkury-City" conforms to requirements of service provider: this multifunction complex of class "A" which is a part of MMDTs "Moscow City" has the developed infrastructure. On the first floors of the building restaurants, cafe, shops, the corporate dining room for tenants, ATMs, a dry-cleaner, customer services and household services are located. Also in a complex there is a convenient parking, and the design of office will conform to international standards of Orange. Besides, the area of the business center differs in good transport availability.

Orange Business Services provides high-speed satellite communication in the Far East

At the beginning of summer of 2016 Orange Business Services started the service providing high data transfer rate in regions of the Far East, using the satellite equipment working in Ku-plan range. Orange Business Services takes strong positions in the telecommunication market of the Far East, providing services for the enterprises of the region, such as Cupid Zoloto, East Express bank. Orange offered the first high-speed satellite communication when the AM3 satellite which developed the resource was replaced with AM5 with support of the latest technologies. Customers of the company have access to already checked solutions of two-way communication at data transfer rates of 150 Mgbit / page.

2015: Orange Business Services starts the new business direction in Russia — the managed mobile services

The Orange Business Services service provider announced in February, 2015 start of the direction of business in Russia — the managed mobile services. This solution is strategically important for Orange and is submitted in the development strategy of the company till 2020. The first within this direction cloud services on mobile device management, will be provided by applications and content and also expenses on corporate mobile communication.

Device Management Premium is the complete solution for safe mobile device management of the EMM level (Enterprise Mobility Management). It represents the complex packet with the ciphering gateway integrating device management (iOS, Android, Windows), applications and content. Consolidation of these three levels gives essentially new quality of management and control over mobile processes at the enterprise, claim in the company. The solution provided based on the platform of vendor MobileIron is unrolled in virtual private "cloud" of Orange.

2014: Статус Cisco ATP Identity Services Engine Partner in Russia

In January, 2014 it became known that Orange Business Services in Russia confirmed compliance to requirements of technology specialization of Cisco ATP Identity Services Engine Partner in Russia (ISE ATP). Receiving this specialization testifies to the high level of examination of the operator in the field of architecture of the Cisco ATP Identity Services platform and allows to propose to customers solutions on creation of information security systems.

Cisco Identity Services Engine ─ the management system for network politicians and user rights allowing to implement projects on access isolation to information resources of the companies and enterprises. For January, 2014 Orange ─ the only telecommunication operator in the Russian market having this specialization and the status Cisco Gold Partner.
