2025: Rigla bought Pharmintorg
On October 23, 2025, Rigla completed the acquisition of the Pharmintorg pharmacy chain in Tver. Information on the value of the purchased assets was not disclosed.
According to Sergey Kovalev, Deputy General Director for Development of Rigla, nine pharmacies and six optics salons, which are located in the same premises, were included in the deal perimeter. These points will be renamed Zdravsiti Apteka and integrated into the current structure of the Rigly regional branch.
As of the end of the third quarter of 2025, the Pharmintorg chain included 12 pharmacies with an average revenue of 3.13 million rubles per point. Pharmacies not included in the deal are planned to close. At the same time, as noted, all the staff of Pharmintorg will be retained.
Kovalev notes that many purchased pharmacies are located in the central districts of the city, which ensures high traffic. The acquired optics salons will continue to work on the ophthalmology profile, which will allow Rigle to strengthen the corresponding direction in the region: before the transaction, only one optics salon was located at the federal pharmacy chain in Tver.
In general, taking into account the assets received, the total number of Rigly pharmacy institutions in the Tver region increased to 70. Of these, 10 new points were opened in 2025. According to Kovalev, the deal will allow the company to increase its stake in the region to 13%.
The Pharmintorg website says that the company was founded on February 14, 1993. The assortment includes medicines, medical products, disinfectants, personal hygiene items and products, products of medical, children's and dietary nutrition, dietary supplements, perfumes and cosmetics, etc. In the direction of optics, glasses, contact lenses, frames and accessories are offered.[1]
