2025: Rigla bought Geopharm

On November 7, 2025, a deal was completed to acquire the Tambov chain of pharmacies Geopharm by the largest Russian pharmaceutical retailer Rigla. As a result of the transaction, 100% of the share in the authorized capital of Geopharm was transferred to Rigle.

According to the register of Roszdravnadzor, the regional operator Geopharm, founded in 2015 in Tambov, owns six licenses for pharmacy outlets by November 2025. Until 2020, the company was owned by Vasily Elizarov, after which it passed to Elena Vorozheikina. Since March 2025, the general director of Geopharm has been Irina Suvorina, who retained her post after the change of ownership. At the end of 2024, the network's revenue amounted to 152 million rubles, net profit - 5.8 million rubles.

Rigla was already represented in the Tambov region by 42 of its own points (operating under the Rigla, Be Healthy! Brands and as part of Zdravsiti). Joining Geopharm strengthens the position of the federal retailer in the region.

This purchase became part of Rigla's large-scale strategy to strengthen its national presence. According to the results of the first half of 2025, the company managing more than 6.5 thousand pharmacies took first place in the Vademecum rating "Top 200 pharmacy chains in Russia" with revenue of 130.9 billion rubles.

In 2025 alone, Rigla conducted a series of acquisitions, adding about 300 new locations to its portfolio. Among them is the structure of the Samara pharmaceutical retailer Aliya-Pharm (174 institutions); Kaliningrad LLC "Linz," which managed the brand "NewAya Pharmacy" (more than 50 points); three companies operating in Vladivostok under the Аптека25.рф brand (49 outlets), the Tver network Pharmintorg (9 pharmacies and 6 optics salons).

In November 2025, in addition to the purchase of Geopharm, a deal was closed to acquire the Ecopharm Tambov network (7 points), also previously owned by Vasily Elizarov. Ecopharm's revenue for 2024 amounted to 166.2 million rubles.[1]
