History

2015: X5 Retail Group purchased Spar retail network

X5 Retail Group purchased in the spring of 2015 at A&NN Investments fund which co-owner is Alexander Mamut, Spar network. X5 purchased 26 shops: 11 in the capital, 7 in the Moscow region, 8 in Vladimir. The area of each of them is from 400 to 1600 square meters. Most supermarkets will be included into Perekrestok network, a little — into the structure of Pyaterochka. The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) approved the petition of X5 for acquisition of Spar supermarkets at the end of March. The A&NN fund invested in the Spahr Retail project in 2009.
