Microsoft Kaizala (messenger)

2019: Start worldwide

At the beginning of April, 2019 the corporate Microsoft Kaizala messenger became available worldwide — in 180 countries with the translation into 40 languages. Up to this point service was it is possible to use in 28 countries, including Brazil, Turkey and Indonesia.

Users of Office 365 could work with Kaizala only in the presence of corporate subscriptions, and at the beginning of April, 2019 this limit was lifted.

Kaizala has functions (group chats, audio-and video calls and dr), inherent to many consumer messengers, like WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger.  According to the senior analyst of 451 Research Raúl Casta ñón Martínez, Kaizala appeared as the project of Microsoft positioned as a business alternative to consumer services for message exchange.

For promotion of Kaizala in the corporate sector data encryption and also the expanded functions of administration allowing to create is implemented and to manage flexibly groups in the companies, including due to application the politician. The messenger is configured work with very big groups, facilitating control of important confidential information in the large organizations.

For access to Kaizala it is optional to have an account of Microsoft — it is possible to be registered by the phone number. It facilitates work with the messenger for freelance employees and employees who have no corporate e-mail and to which the working computer or the smartphone is not fixed.^[1]

2017: The announcement and start in India

At the end of July, 2019 Microsoft announced the Kaizala messenger and in the test mode started it in India.
