1C Entertainment began as a gaming division. "" 1C She is known for projects such as King's Bount, Behind Enemy Lines, Space Rangers, IL-2: Attack Aircraft, Truckers and The Art of War. By February 2022, 1C Entertainment released more than 100 games. The company produces games for all platforms through its global network of partners.

2022: Tencent bought 1C Entertainment

At the end of February 2022, it became known about the sale of 1C Entertainment to the Chinese company Tencent. The latter buys a controlling stake in the publisher and developer of games from the Russian "1C." The value of the transaction is not disclosed.

Under the terms of the agreement, 1C Entertainment and all of its subsidiary brands will be renamed within six months of the close of the deal. At the same time, new names are not disclosed by February 28, 2022.

By the end of February 2022, 1C Entertainment, in addition to the Warsaw (head) office, has units in Gdansk, Prague, Budapest and Moscow. The company owns 1C Online Games, 1C Publishing, QLOC, specializing in porting games, and distributors Cenega and Muve.[1]
