2023: VK bought 51% of Didenok Team

On March 9, 2023, VK Holding announced the purchase of 51% of the Didenok Team communication agency, which specializes in working with star bloggers (among them - Vlad A4, Katya Adushkina, Nikita Nagorny, Amina Tenderlybae and Viki Show). Financial and other terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

According to the press service of VK, the investment will help take the company's cooperation with Didenok Team to a new level. Thus, VK platforms will help dozens of million-plus bloggers to increase their audience, and will also become a link between them and the largest advertisers. Partnership with VK for Didenok Team is a new level of production and high-profile large-scale special projects, the holding said.

The VK press service added that working with Didenok Team will increase the influx of audiences and increase user involvement in the main VK platforms. Didenok Team influencers will increase the influx of new bloggers to VK platforms and the growth of their activity. Thanks to the updated recommendation feed and new effective monetization tools, they will be able to increase coverage and make money on content.

The founder and general director of the communication agency, Kirill Didenok, told Forbes that Didenok Team expects to increase the list of services provided at the expense of VK. He noted that the very fact of such a deal suggests that the advertising market has experienced a period of turbulence and will gain momentum. He stressed that the team and top management of Didenok Team remain in full force.

The Didenok Team includes the eponymous communication agency specializing in the promotion of goods and services in social networks through influencer bloggers and celebrity management, as well as the eponymous PR agency, production and creative boutique. Among the Russian clients-advertisers Didenok - Sberbank, Yandex, VK, Megafon, etc. (by March 2023).^[1]
