GetStar is a short phone number service created in 2013. The GetStar website reports that by December 2023 the company is working in cooperation with Megafon, MTS VimpelCom, Tele2 and Yota, and among its clients are Aeroflot, Gazprombank, Avtodor - toll roads, Metro, L'Etoile and Raiffeisen Bank.

Performance indicators

In 2022, GetStar's revenue amounted to 125.9 million rubles, net loss - 10.9 million rubles. A year earlier, these indicators were measured at 153.8 million and 32 million rubles, respectively.

History

2023: Megafon bought 100% of GetStar

On December 20, 2023, it became known about the sale of GetStar to MegaFon. The corresponding entry appeared in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities (USRUL). MegaFon confirmed the fact of the transaction.

We regularly acquire assets that are complementary to our core business. The deal to buy Getstar fits fully into this strategy. For us, Getstar is a long-time partner with whom we are implementing a number of projects to provide business with short number services. We are confident that the presence of this expertise in ‹ perimeter of Megafon will strengthen the corporate segment of the company's telecom business, MegaFon told Interfax.

It became known about the sale of GetStar "MegaFon"

At the same time, the company did not disclose the value of the transaction, as well as its other parameters. It is only known that MegaFon acquired 100% of Getstar LLC. The agency, referring to the data of the SPARK-Interfax system, reports that until May 2023 Getstar LLC belonged to the Cypriot Yemyem Services Ltd, in the spring of the same year Starcom, registered in the UAE, became the owner of the LLC.^[1]
