"Tetrika" and "Uch.Doma" specialize in individual classes with tutors in school subjects, preparation for exams and olympiads. Tetrika has more than 41 thousand students and about 3.7 thousand active teachers (by August 2023). VK expects that the merger of platforms will allow the company to concentrate resources on the development of services in the tutoring segment.

According to the press service of the holding, by the end of August 2023, VK is developing education at all stages - from school to professional. The perimeter of the company includes educational services Skillbox, GeekBrains, SkillFactory, Учи.ру, Umschool, Tetrika, Spherum and others. In addition, VK is developing an Olympiad direction on its own All Cups platform.

The revenue of the Educational Technologies segment for the first half of 2023 at VK reached 7 billion rubles, thanks to an increase in demand for courses on educational platforms and the consolidation of the online platform for schoolchildren "Учи.ру," the company noted.

According to Smart Ranking, the Russian edtech market in January-June 2023 grew by 34.6% compared to the first half of 2022. The agency estimates the revenue of the 100 largest edtech companies in the first six months of the year at 52.4 billion rubles.
