2025: VK bought 90% of "Lectarium"

On April 28, 2025, it became known that the VK structure entered into a deal to acquire 90% of the Lectarium platform, which specializes in preparing children for the OGE and USE. The value of the asset purchased was not disclosed as of that date.

According to Interfax, the transaction was carried out between Препреп.ру LLC, which is developing the Tetrika educational platform as part of VK, and Lecta Group LLC (a legal entity of the Lectarium platform). It is assumed that the deal will expand the range of Tetrika products, as well as strengthen VK's presence in the field of children's education. In general, the purchase of "Lectarium" is part of VK's strategy for the development of the educational segment. After the sale, 90% of the remaining 10% belongs to the general director of Lecta Group, Mikhail Mirzoyan.

The educational platform "Lectarium," as noted on its website, is aimed at preparing students for successful passing of the exam and OGE exams and entering the desired educational institutions. Various training models are available: "Base" (for those who want to go through the school curriculum on their own), "Pro" (for those who need an individual approach and more attention) and "Turnkey" (for those who need guarantees of the result).

On the platform, lecturer teachers, students, parents, tutors and subject curators work together to form a single educational environment. Pupils can view lectures, do homework and take tests, while curators closely monitor their progress by checking homework and scoring. Integration with Telegram is provided, which ensures quick and convenient communication between the participants in the process. In addition, artificial intelligence tools are used that simplify and improve the work of tutors and curators.^[1]
