AppFollow is service for the analysis of responses, applications of competitors, ASO optimization of positions in tops and search issues for App Store, Google Play, Amazon and Microsoft Store. The company was founded by Russians Anatoly Sharifulin, Evgeny Kruglov and Pavel Vlasov. Its office is in Helsinki.

History

2020: Attraction of $5 million investments

At the end of October, 2020 AppFollow carried out an investment round of A Series within which it attracted $5 million. Nauta Capital, Vendep Capital and RTP Global funds were among investors. What shares in a startup were received by investors, is not specified. AppFollow value assessment is also not opened.

AppFollow is going to spend the raised funds for expansion of business in the American and European markets and also for involvement of new heads and increase in functionality of the platform. Money will also go for marketing and development of clients (customer success), start of the expanded free plan.

The service of monitoring of mobile applications AppFollow attracted $5 million

By the end of October, 2020 AppFollow, according to own data, has more than 60 thousand clients among whom — Airbnb, HeadHunter and Joom. The service earns from a subscription which cost depends on the number of applications, requests and other parameters. About 65 people are on the staff of the company, service is available in 9 countries.

AppFollow helps teams to understand how users and competitors are configured, to find out how potential clients look for applications, and to use this knowledge to make the product more noticeable and, of course, to keep the KPI under control, for example to keep track of the number of loadings and income — the CEO of the company Anatoly Sharifulin told the TechCrunch edition.

According to Crunchbase base, the project totally attracted $2.3 million without the investment round closed at the end of October, 2020.[1]
