History
2021: Attracting $40 million of investment, including from RTP Global
At the beginning of June 2021, the manufacturer of 3D printed airliners Zenyum raised $40 million, including $25 million from L Catterton, a private investment company focused on consumer brands. Also took part in an investment round of series B Leonid's fund BoguslavskogoRTP Global, Sequoia Capital India, Partech, TNB Aura, Seeds Capital and FEBE Ventures.
The total amount of funds raised by Zenyum by June 2021 is $56 million, including funds from the series A round worth $13.6 million. According to VentureCap Insights, the last time Zenyum startup was valued at $53.7 million.
Zenyum plans to use the funds raised to accelerate expansion in Asia, expand the range of products and further develop the technological stack, as the startup seeks to become a reliable partner in dental clinics, said Zenyum CEO and co-founder Julian Artope.

The main product of the company liner ZenyumClear in by June 2021 is available in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Macau, Vietnam, Thailand and Taiwan, the startup intends to bring it to other markets. The cost of the company's products, taking into account the installation program, reaches $3900.
Julian Artope noted that airliners can ZenyumClear be up to 70% cheaper than other products on the market. The company can reduce the cost of its solutions by allowing its network of dental partners to work with its own stack of technologies, which will allow service providers to monitor the progress of patients, while reducing the number of necessary clinic visits.[1]
2019: Attracting investments, including from Leonid Boguslavsky Fund
At the end of November, 2019 Leonid's fund BoguslavskogoRTP Global together with other investors invested in the Singapore dental startup of Zenyum. In general, in the next round of financing, the startup raised $13.6 million, as a result of which the total amount of funds raised by the company reached $16.1 million.
In addition to RTP Global, Sequoia India, TNB Aura, SEEDS Capital and a number of other investors also participated in the round. The company plans to use the funds received to enter the Vietnamese, Taiwanese and Indonesian markets, as well as to expand the product line. The funds raised will also allow the startup to expand the product line to include, among other things, retainers and tooth whitening.
Zenyum already has more than 100 specialists throughout the Asia-Pacific region, and revenue growth is 20-30% per month, the company itself says.
The founder and executive director of the startup, Julian Artopé, noted that only about 35% of applications are approved, since Zenyum has the right to treat only mild and moderate cases of bite disorders in adults over 18 years old. After approval, the client can visit one of the partner clinics for 3D scanning of the jaws, and the startup will produce individual airliners based on the data.[2]
