History

2022: $30 million investment attraction

In mid-April 2022, DoControl announced the attraction of investments in the amount of $30 million to expand its activities. The startup is developing a digital platform to protect company information from leakage in the event of shared access to employee data or external partners. With its help, companies can receive information about information sent by e-mail, through cloud services or instant messengers. If a data leak is detected, the unsafe channel is quickly blocked.

Funding comes in the form of a Series B round led by Insight Partners, which also involves other unnamed previous sponsors. The list of her investors also includes Leonid's fund BoguslavskogoRTP Global, StageOne Ventures, Cardumen Capital and CrowdStrike security company which is both a financial, and strategic sponsor, working with DoControl within the company and introducing it to the platform.

The problem that DoControl solves is growing along with how enterprises work in April 2022. As more companies move their IT activities to the cloud, collaboration is not just between employees in one organization. Problems arise when people change roles, or leave organizations, or projects move, and those who attach documents cannot update access to [[[Data|data]] exchange in these common applications and documents. It's not that the organization can't revoke access, but in many applications, sharing is enabled based on each user, which means that access needs to be disabled, but this often does not happen.

{{quote 'So even if you remove a user from the shared system, this information can still be shared. If I create a document, say, on Google, and then share it with the provider, then, as we see, no one ever returns to the dock and does not remove the sharing privilege. You do not remember what you shared, you have no context, and all this is done and buried in several ecosystems, "said DoControl CEO Adam Gavish. }} The solution DoControl built on the idea of attaching zero trust in data access security, similar to the approach that many providers use to access a network or applications where users must log on to use applications. As of April 2022, DoControl provides integration into the top 15 cloud application platforms, including Google and Microsoft applications, including GitHub, Jira and Salesforce, including Slack.[1]

2021: Raising $10 million of investment, including from RTP Global

In the middle of April, 2021 the startup on providing the SaaS-applications of DoControl with safety reported about attraction of $10 million within financing of series A. The investment round headed Leonid's fund BoguslavskogoRTP Global and also invested in a startup CrowdStrike Falcon, StageOne Ventures and Cardumen Capital.

Leading the development of cybersecurity products in Google Cloud, I personally saw how enterprises are struggling to prevent unauthorized access to data stored in the cloud. The situation becomes more complicated when applications SaaS serve all employees. Identity and zero-trust providers support users and protect remote access, but IT professionals don't have an easy way to dynamically monitor and restrict access to data from former employees, private accounts, external vendors, customers, or partners. This creates a huge amount of unmanaged access to data, posing significant risks to organizations and increasing the likelihood of data leakage - co-founder and CEO DoControl Adam Gavish.

According to Gavish, DoControl solves one of the most difficult operational tasks - monitoring and limiting access to data by outsiders, without slowing down the business. The company provides enterprises with access to an efficient platform that allows them to achieve operational balance through automation and convenient modern user interaction.[2]
