2021: Atos bought Ideal GRP

In September 2021, it became known about the closure of the sale of Ideal GRP to Atos. The financial terms of the agreement are not disclosed.

Ideal GRP CEO Jaakko Hartikainen, commenting on the deal, noted that it will help the company provide global and scalable services, while maintaining a close relationship and local flexibility for our customers in the Northern Europe and Baltic countries.

Atos acquired Ideal GRP

Atos notes that the past few months have demonstrated the fragility of modern supply chains, which has prompted manufacturing organizations to accelerate digital transformation to increase business sustainability, efficiency and productivity. The PLM system provides an information foundation for the product by integrating data, processes, and business systems.

In June 2021, Atos acquired Processia, a company specializing in PLM products. Joining such companies is consistent with Atos's industry strategy, strengthens the portfolio of engineering solutions, and also expands Atos' presence in Northern Europe. With the purchase of such companies, Atos will provide the resources, experience and competencies necessary for medium and large enterprises to successfully implement Industry 4.0 transformational initiatives, Atos added.^[1]
