The YouTool service was founded in April 2021 by Tyumen entrepreneurs Yevgeny Gaffarov and Andrey Malyshkin. The platform allows users to rent and rent tools without collateral in a few clicks through a mobile application. Both rental companies and individuals can hand over tools. By October 2022, YouTool operates in Moscow and the Moscow Region, St. Petersburg, Tyumen, Kazan, Krasnodar, Sochi, Perm, Astrakhan, Novorossiysk and Yekaterinburg. The service's website says that it already has more than 10,000 users and more than 7,500 leased tools.

Checkout and delivery takes no more than 30 minutes, there is an opportunity to pick up. You can make an order in the service application. To start using the service, you need to download the application, choose the date and place of rental, pay to book the tool. After that, a code will come to the phone number, which will need to be entered at the point of issue. You can pick up the tool in person or with delivery.

History

2023: Attracting 20 million rubles of investments

On May 4, 2023, it became known about investing 20 million rubles in YouTool from the Moscow Venture Investment Development Fund and the Zerno Ventures venture fund, which invested 10 million rubles in the startup.

It is noted that YouTool participated in the StartHub.Moscow program, which provides technology entrepreneurs with access to tools for business development and expert support. As part of the accelerator, YouTool increased revenue by 10 times and increased the number of equipment rental points by 3 times.

20 million rubles invested in YouTool

By the beginning of May 2023, YouTool has 50 tool rental points in Moscow. The company plans to scale up to 800 points.
