According to Kulikov, in Bayer HealthCare there are 23 different data sources, including the transaction systems and Excel files, active users of BI are more than 600 employees, and more than 130 archive reports are stored in the company.

VimpelCom, in particular, uses for this purpose the Russian solution MOZ which is unrolled in Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Georgia, Armenia and covers in total 24 thousand active users. At the same time in the company there are about 1700 different regularly used report types.

As a result of implementation of Big Data technologies in VimpelCom the speed of formation of "heavy" reports was considerably increased, the architecture of data sources is simplified, an opportunity to quickly carry out single important calculations is provided and also new services for clients are implemented. One of questions to Shelentsov from participants concerned project investment costs and team's line-up VimpelCom which was engaged in it.

"What I told about, is only one of the directions where in our company Big Data is used. Investments into the project of use Big Data for the operational reporting were zero. Employees to whom it became very interesting began to work on the project. They began to study appropriate technologies, collected a cluster from the equipment which is already existing in the company, and after its start we saw what specific commercial objectives can be solved, using Big Data", - Shelentsov answered.

To this project in Tinkoff bank 8 years, for the reporting 500 people use BI systems. Traditional DWH (Data Warehouse, data warehouse) and BI and integration approach to their implementation was implemented into Tinkoff. Big Data began to be used in the company as a part of strategy of DWH.

Alexander Berezinsky from Institute of problems of management of RAS devoted the report to perspectives of implementation of BI segmentation in bank. Using a system it is possible to find, for example, in social networks of those who with the largest probability are clients of bank, to load data on them into storage for the analysis then to segment and start for them targeted advertizing campaigns.

The expected results of implementation of BI segmentation is expense reduction on creation of marketing campaigns, increase in NPV (net present value) in marketing campaigns for the account "pulling" of a funnel of sales, increase in a customer loyalty, Alexander Berezinsky considers.

As one of examples of the large implementations implemented by Conogy it brought the project into Gazprom Germania within which for the company the unified BI platform was created.

"Lifecycle of BI includes several stages of development – from data collection before intelligent data analysis and forecasting. Understanding at what stage of development there is its system what are made demands and tasks is important for the company, - Alexander Berendt says. - Integration of solutions which already work with Big Data into the companies requires construction of architecture by uniform BI that includes harmonization of a technical system landscape, harmonization of basic data and business of processes. And only if the corresponding conditions are created, use of instruments of simulation and scenario analysis will be effective".
