Compatibility with Basis Dynamix, Basis vCore and Basis vControl

OpenYard and Basis tested the compatibility of OpenYard servers with the vendor's infrastructure software. OpenYard announced this on March 31, 2025.

The testing involved key solutions of the Basis ecosystem - the virtualization platform Basis Dynamix, its own hypervisor of the 1st type Basis vCore and the Basis vControl control module - and the OpenYard server equipment of the RS101I and RS201I families, as well as RS102I and RS202I. The RS101I/RS201I processors x86 (third generation) and RS102I/RS202I (fourth generation x86) series OpenYard servers provide high performance and scalability. 1U models have similar characteristics, but with fewer drives (up to 10) and PCIe slots. All servers are equipped with OCP 2.0/3.0 slots and support DDR4 or DDR5 RAM depending on the series.

In the Basis ecosystem, Basis Dynamix is responsible for creating and maintaining isolated virtual environments in the customer's infrastructure. The tasks of the vControl module are to manage elements of the virtual infrastructure, including type 1 vCore hypervisors, and monitor their status through a single web interface.

OpenYard and OKB SAPR tested the compatibility of Accord-GX v.P servers and controllers. OpenYard announced this on March 28, 2025.

OpenYard RS201I (2U) supports up to 24 SAS/SATA/NVME drives, is equipped with 2 x86 processors, 64 GB of RAM, an LSI 9560-16I controller, two 1.92 TB SSDs and two 10Gbe network interfaces.

"Chord-GX v.P" is an expansion card that fits into a free motherboard slot. The controller protects devices and information resources from unauthorized access.

Production of servers from the 19 '-inch corporate line based on 4th/5th generation processors

Launch of mass production of equipment at the plant in the Ryazansky technopark

The Open Development Center company, which produces servers under the OpenYard brand, announced on December 5, 2023 the start of mass production of equipment at its own plant, which is located on the territory of the Ryazansky technopark. In November 2023, OpenYard received the status of an independent manufacturer. Despite the change in the ownership structure, OpenYard fully retained all the assets and resources necessary to support and further develop server solutions: intellectual property, an experienced team of engineers, unique developments in the OCP (Open Compute Project) architecture, as well as the production site of server equipment, which became the first commercial production on the territory of the Ryazansky Technopark.
