2025: Lenta bought Remi
In December 2025, Lenta completed the acquisition of a 67% stake in Remi Group, which unites stores in the Far East. The perimeter of the transaction includes 115 outlets in the Primorsky and Khabarovsk Territories, as well as in the Sakhalin Region.
According to the Interfax news agency, the group's stores operate under the Remi, RemiCity and Economich brands. Their total trading area is about 100 thousand square meters. m. At the end of 2024, according to reports, the total revenue of the network reached about 53 billion rubles.
According to Interfax, after the completion of the transaction, stores will continue to operate under their current names. The founder of the Remi Group of Companies Dmitry Suleev will remain the owner of a stake in the company's capital and will participate in business development together with the current management team.
Lenta said that the integration of the two companies "operational and logistics processes will increase business efficiency and optimize costs. This will support affordable prices for buyers of the Far East.
The general director of Infoline analytics, Mikhail Burmistrov, estimated the potential cost of Remi at 18-20 billion rubles. This transaction provides Lenta with access to the Far Eastern market, where its main competitors are already present. According to one of the retail experts, the company has been considering entering this market for a long time by acquiring a local operator.[1]
