Function of automatic face recognition

On February 3, 2020 the Ruselectronics company reported that it brought to the market upgraded version of a system of corporate communications with function of automatic face recognition. The technology performs authentication of users at registration for the planned action. It allows to increase safety of access to content which is stored in communications system and also to automatically identify conferees and to define their location in the hall for automatic guidance of rotary cameras.

According to the company, the Vega-Irida software product developed by Vega Concern is intended for ensuring interaction between employees in the government and commercial structures. In this version along with a video conferencing the extensive feature set for joint work is implemented: the messenger, business process management and problem definition, the distributed file storage, the integrated office editors and interactive boards.

The main distinctive features of a system is the possibility of use of any hardware, including virtual machines and also lower cost in comparison with the analogs presented at the market.

Upgraded version of a system is registered in the unified register of the Russian programs for electronic computers and databases.
