The Novosibirsk region is a subject of the Russian Federation, part of the Siberian Federal District, the area is 177, 8 thousand km ². The region was formed on September 28, 1937.

Population

The rural population of the region in 2022 decreased by 1.9 thousand people and amounted to 566.5 thousand people.

Among the municipalities of the region, population growth was noted in the urban districts of Berdsk and Ob, Kochenevsky, Novosibirsk and Orda municipal districts. Zdvinsky (2.6%), Severny (2.4%), Dovolensky (2.1%) municipal districts are in the "losses."

2023: How is the digitalization of the Novosibirsk region. Results of the year

At the end of March 2024, the Minister of Digital Development and Communications of the Novosibirsk Region, Sergei Tsukar, spoke about some of the results of the digitalization of the region in 2023. In particular, he pointed to an increase to 91.9% in the share of households with access to broadband Internet from 86.4% in 2022.

As the portal D-Russia writes with reference to the materials provided by the Ministry of Digital Development of the Novosibirsk Region, in 2023, at the expense of the regional and federal budgets, it was possible to provide a record number of small settlements with cellular communications and mobile Internet - 76 - with a population of about 17 thousand inhabitants. By the end of 2023, fiber-optic communication lines have been laid in more than 900 settlements in the region, almost 100 thousand residents have been provided with voice cellular communications and high-speed mobile Internet.

Another direction of digitalization of the region is associated with the development of electronic services. In 2023, 16.45 million applications were submitted through the State Public services portal in the Novosibirsk Region, which is more than 8 times higher than the figure 6 years ago.

In 2023, the Unified Contact Center was launched in the region, which was the first beyond the Urals. The project brought together 30 regional authorities hotlines. In 2023, the Center for Monitoring and Response to Information Security Incidents (SOC) was created in the Novosibirsk Region. In particular, three new support measures were introduced during the year: for computer science teachers in schools, for young teachers of digital disciplines in colleges and for companies implementing additional education projects in the IT sphere.

According to the Novosibirsk Ministry of Digital Development, in 2022, about 400 thousand cyber attacks on the information resources of the data processing center of the regions were registered in the region. By the end of 2022, the authorities of the Novosibirsk region continue to work on the creation of the Regional Center for Countering Cyber ​ ​ Threats (SOC).

It is also reported that the Novosibirsk region provided the transfer to electronic format of 90 state and municipal services (100%) and became the only region that ensured the possibility of registration of benefits and support measures for families of mobilized citizens through Public services.

In 2022, the digitalization of social areas continued in the region - medicine, education, agriculture, etc. Thus, new electronic medical documents, a laboratory research system, an electronic prescription, etc. have been introduced.[2]
