Office of Roskomnadzor in the Siberian Federal District

The Office of the Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology and Mass Media in the Siberian Federal District (Office of Roskomnadzor in the Siberian Federal District) is the territorial body of the Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology and Mass Media. The Department was created for the purpose of exercising state powers for control and supervision in the field of mass media, including electronic, and mass communications, information technologies and communications, functions for monitoring and supervision of compliance with the processing of personal data with the requirements of the legislation of the Russian Federation in the field of personal data in the Novosibirsk region; coordinates the activities of the territorial bodies of the Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology and Mass Media in the Siberian Federal District.

History

2012: Renamed the Office of Roskomnadzor for the Siberian Federal District

By order of Roskomnadzor dated December 29, 2012 No. 1479, the Office of the Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technologies and Mass Communications in the Novosibirsk Region was renamed the Office of the Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technologies and Mass Communications in the Siberian Federal District.

2009: Renamed the Office of Roskomnadzor in the Novosibirsk Region

By order of Roskomnadzor dated May 22, 2009 No. 87, the Office of Rossvyazkomnadzor in the Novosibirsk Region was renamed the Office of Roskomnadzor (Federal Service for Supervision in the Field of Communications, Information Technologies and Mass Media) in the Novosibirsk Region.

The Office of Roskomnadzor in the Novosibirsk Region carried out functions of control and supervision in the field of information technology, communications, including the media, supervision of the compliance of personal data processing with the requirements of the legislation of the Russian Federation in the field of personal data in the region.

2008: Renamed the Office of Rossvyazkomnadzor in the Novosibirsk Region

In 2008, the Federal Service for Supervision of Mass Communications, Communications cultural and Heritage Protection (Rossvyazokhrankultura) President of the Russian Federation was transformed into the Federal Service for Supervision of Communications and Mass Communications on the basis of Decree "Issues of the System and Structure of Federal Executive Bodies" No. 724 of May 12, 2008.

Based on the Order of the Federal Service for Supervision of Communications and Mass Media "On Territorial Bodies of the Federal Service for Supervision of Communications and Mass Media" No. 41 of August 8, 2008, the Rossvyazokhrankultura Department for the Novosibirsk Region was renamed the Rossvyazkomnadzor Department for the Novosibirsk Region.

The Office of Rossvyazkomnadzor in the Novosibirsk Region carried out state control and supervision in the field of information technology, communications (including postal), mass communications and mass media (including electronic), as well as control and supervision over the compliance of personal data processing with the requirements of the legislation of the Russian Federation in the field of personal data.

2007: Reorganization into the Department of Rossvyazokhrankultura in the Novosibirsk Region

In 2007, the Department of Rossvyaznadzor in the Novosibirsk Region and the Department of Rosokhrankultura in the Siberian Federal District merged into one department to solve modern state problems. By order of the Federal Service for Supervision of Mass Communications, Communications and Protection of Cultural Heritage (Rossvyazokhrankultura) dated October 2, 2007 No. 198, the Department of Rossvyazokhrankultura in the Novosibirsk Region was established.

The activities of the newly created Office included issues of compliance with legislation in the field of communications (including postal), television and radio broadcasting (including compliance by licensees with licensing conditions in this area), the protection of cultural heritage (library and museum funds, archives, monuments stories and culture, etc.), as well as control and supervisory functions in the field of mass media. Since January 1, 2008, additional functions have been added - control and supervision over the compliance with the processing of personal data.

2004: Transformation into the Office of Rossvyaznadzor in the Novosibirsk Region

By decree of the President of the Russian Federation of March 9, 2004 No. 314 "On the system and structure of federal executive bodies," the Federal Service for Supervision in the Field of Communications (Rossvyaznadzor) was created.

In accordance with the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of 26.04.2004 No. 223 "On the reorganization of the system of state supervision of communications and informatization," the State Institution of the Department of State Supervision of Communications and Informatization in the Russian Federation in the Novosibirsk Region was liquidated and, at the suggestion of the Ministry of Transport and Communications, the Department of Rossvyaznadzor in the Novosibirsk Region was organized. The function of the Rossvyaznadzor Office in the Novosibirsk Region included state supervision and control over compliance by legal entities with the mandatory requirements and norms established by regulatory legal acts in the field of communications, including control over compliance with the legislation of the Russian Federation on licensing in the field of communications.

2000: Reorganization into the Office of State Supervision of Communications and Informatization in the Russian Federation in the Novosibirsk Region

In connection with the reorganization of the system of state supervision of communications in accordance with the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of April 28, 2000 No. 380 "On the reorganization of the system of state supervision of communications and informatization in the Russian Federation," the Department of Supervision of Communications and Informatization of the Russian Federation was created as part of the Central Office of the Ministry of Communications of the Russian Federation, to which state institutions were subordinate to the territorial departments of supervision of communications and informatization in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, including the State Institution Office of State Supervision of Communications and Informatization in the Russian Federation in the Novosibirsk Region. The new Office carried out the functions of supervision over the systems and means of communication of legal entities and individuals providing services in the field of electrical communications, informatization and postal communications, as well as over the RES and VChU of various users and production and technological communication networks.

1994: Creation of the Department of State Communications in the Novosibirsk Region

The Office of Gossvyaznadzor in the Novosibirsk Region was established in June 1994 on the basis of the State Telecommunication Inspectorate in the Novosibirsk Region. The Department of Gossvyaznadzor in the Novosibirsk Region carried out state control and supervision in the field of networks and means of electrical and postal communications, registration of RES and VChU in the Novosibirsk Region.

1993

Decree of the Council of Ministers of the Government of the Russian Federation of November 15, 1993 No. 1156 "On Approval of the Regulation on the State Communications Supervision Service in the Russian Federation" formed the State Communications Supervision Service in the Russian Federation (Glavgossvyaznadzor of Russia).
